Great! Finally a test on more heavy lure with a deeper spool, for the rest of us who wants a light reel with regular lures.
After using mine I have some observations. The hybrid ceramic bearings are great. Hybrid ceramic bearings have a different sound and feel. This reel is a different kind of reel and I'm not sure if you can compare it to others because of this. If you know this going in, you'll recognize the insane performance you get for the price.
Looks like an awesome reel for the price. I can't wait to see its performance during the BFS testing phase!
All i can say is that i bought 2 Piscifun reels after your assessments and LOVE those reels. I am going to buy this reel for sure! Thanks brother. You nailed it for me.
The last seasir reel I bought didn’t come with the extra spool I contacted them and they said… thank you we’re happy to you for having seasir reel
Just got mine in today from the Amazon link provided in the unboxing video the day it was posted. Can confirm the spool tension knob is very easy to adjust with subtle clicks on this one. No tight O-ring issues. Not sure if they fixed the issue or I just got a good one. Looks high end but the handle and handle knob play makes it feel budget, shimming the knobs would help a ton. At the price point I'm very satisfied. I'm going to try the shallow spool tomorrow morning.

im using this reel for over 6months no issue with tight tension knob at all and still in perfect condition also cheap but got excellent perfomance . it similar feel to abu garcia Xenon Mgltx light and small but that a $450 reels
GREAT GREAT NEWS. on this reel. On Left Reel the Tension knob is great. And updated. Easy to adjust. 1 from Amazon 1 from Aliexpress all updated knob....For sure I'll prob never use the Shallow spool. Maybe for a pond setup but this reel is straight compact n lightweight
I can't find any videos on the Seasir Mansory pro on RUclips in English.
I have the Mansory. I actually love the reel. I just want to know what's better about the Mansory Pro
that is a good length cast for that lure. I use that lure a lot. I usually throw it on a light weight spinning rig but you are doing well with it on that bait caster. clean but don't oil the ceramics!

I have the Soloking Acura HICC-50 BFS, I like it for 2g and up, and I also have the HISTAR Aurora Air BFS which lets me use 1g lures, i paired those with a (LEGENDARY) ZEBCO 33 MICRO 5'0" ULTRA-LIGHT Rod, and is working out great for me gotta fight those Bluegills
Was out of stock yesterday but just looked and got one!
I didnt think the reel would cast badly due to the freespool. Because the Purelure Silver Festher free spools badly butnis probably the 2nd best reel at casting sub 1g lures which is baffling.
This is just a cast x and mansory with a metal body isn't it? They are all based on the same reel and internals.
no man...this reel totally different form from those 2,much better, much smaller n much lighter... yesterday I just got mine n they have some improvements... the spool tension no longer tight n my spool bearing have Oring like shimano silent tune instead spring n washer... it cast a little more silent then 1st version... over all this reel is worth the money...

This looks like a good reel, I will have to take a look at it for the collection. I learned my lesson on the free spool of reels with the Silver Feather, that reel had almost no free spool and I almost never fished with it but when I decided to give it a chance it ended up surprising me and the elite version was even better. You should take a look at the new Haibo Ultra bfs reel, I just got mine at the end of last week and it is an amazing casting reel.
someone is sending the new Haibo and Im getting the DMK DC BFS reel as well
@THEREELTEST it will be fun to see the new dmk bfs reel. I've seen it for sale but I already have the loongze and plan on getting the new model that doesn't require the app so I passed on the dmk for now, maybe if it looks good in the video I will look closer at it

Hello, just got one. The side plate seems to be made of plastic, not carbon fiber as they say. Am i wrong?
What about their claim on casting 1gram lures. Can you do review on that part?

This reel need a cast comparisson...😏 to me is a winner! Shallow spool, 4lb braid and 2g, 3g lures will fly way.
the bfs test will go up against a Kestrel Elite

Just got the M1 a few days ago. I noticed that neither spool has the Little springs. Anyone else notice this. Defect or engineering change? How do I contact Seasir?
If you think its affecting performance I would contact Seasir
lol you get your lure back? Whenever I cast my topwater lure from shore, I make sure I cast against the wind so it comes back to me if I do break off.
no lol, I lose lures that way all the time, just comes with the territory

So u r saying u can make a 50 yards casts and have about another 50 yards of 10 lb line that’s equal to # 3.5 braid left on the spool using reel with 100 Yards of # 2.0 capacity ? Hmmm…. Interesting ….
I just got a kastking valiant eagle 2 it’s not smooth reeling feels like there’s a clicker engaged when turning the handle? Is there way to make it smooth like my other bfs reels? I figured you would know? Thanks
