This is the Olight Baton 3 PRO in NW Neutral white review. I got the desert tan flashlight and love it ! I think you will too. It is the updated and upgrade to the popular Olight S2Rbaton II which I do a comparison with in this video. A great EDC rechargeable flashlight that uses a 18650 battery, magnetic charging, waterproof, drop proof and dust proof. Lots of out door night time beam shots so you can see what the flashlight looks like performing in the dark. Nice and small but very bright that has a max of 1500 lumens on turbo. This is one of the best flashlights Olight has produced this year 2022.

My son and I were servicing his car this afternoon and I handed him my baton 3 pro to use under the car. He stuck it to the frame with the magnet, forgot about it, drove the car from Mobile to Pascagoula and back, and the damn light was still there, still on!!! My mind is fully blown! I mean the magnet is not extraordinarily strong or anything. I’ve had the thing for about a year so it’s not exactly brand new….ive been super happy with it, the battery life is fantastic, it’s a great light.
After this, it is now my absolute favorite and I’ll keep it forever.

I'm getting one of these soon. My s2r baton 2 has been used almost every day for about 5 years is still as good as it was new. This will be a new addition to give my other one a rest. I love these olights, such well designed bits of kit

Thanks for this - I'll check the Baton 3 out. My EDC is a Perun 2 which is ideal for a lot of things, but particularly when walking my dog before daybreak.

That NW s2r is great, supposedly the lime ones are closer to warm white, I love mine.
But the baton 3 pro might be my favorite model. I almost want to go back and rebuy all the colors I don't have in both tints

Charlie, if you get a Warrior mini 3 clip and tail down clip holder, it fits very solidly on the Baton Pro 3 ..... now I can carry emitter down like the other 99% of my flashlights.

Can you set it up magnetized to something horizontally? Or is it too long/heavy and would fall?
Due to a sensor issue Olight pulled the Baton 3 Pro from the shelf, I purchased one just before they did and they to deactivate the proximity sensor.
When, I bought 2, 1 I bought about a month ago, and the other I just bought on sale for 52 bucks. Now I have a desert tan and purple.
What happen to the sensor
I have my issues with the S2rII which really just comes down to the clip not being reversible.. I like lens down and use it my hat A LOT and the body is just too long to do that with the S2RII (slips off). BUT-.. with the B3P in NW in the redemption zone I’m thinking maybe I’ll give it a try!
Wanting to put it on the side of a 22 with a red filter, is it possible to take the Lens off?

I have two of these one in of green and the other in desert tan I had the OD green in my pocket with my keys and not you can see where the paint is coming of. It.
Does this work with standard 18650s?
Olight states on their website that the proximity sensor has been disabled on the new Baton 3 pros. Apparently, from what I read, it was causing issues.
I ordered one a week ago it still has it on there and works as expected. Hopefully no issues in the future.

Yes but you only realize it until you hold a light against it with a rosy tint.
Ladder line shouldn’t be laying in the ground like that. Your antenna probably still works no doubt but ground losses are happening. 73
I love this light but the pocket clip looks so big idk how much I will like it I ordered one and excited for it to arrive ans upgrade my s2r baton 2
I like my olights for a work or survival light however not even the warrior mini or mini 2 is a good defensive edc light for me. I've had too many issues with them tuning on accidentally or not tuning on at all with the tail cap when I needed it.
I also refuse to buy any more olight weapon lights. I've been through two Pl Pro Valkyries, a Balder Mini and two Odins. Never again.
So now I carry a Surefire Stiletto Pro every day as my defensive light and I have a RovyVon as a little detachable keychain work light.
I still use my warrior when I'm hiking or working outside. I also love the i3t and i5t for gifts. An I have a brass i3t on my nightstand as a supplement for my pistol light.
So olight still has a place. But not for serious defensive use. At least not for me.

hi can.i use my 18650 3500mha battery from my warriors mini 2 in the beton 3pro and if it so.why they put a 3200mha insted of the 3500mha

I put my of green in my pocket with the new clip on the fist day three hour later the keys in my pocket rubbed off slot of the green on the light my other flights don't have this probkem.
Find it strange to have a rechargeable torch review with zero mention of battery duration. No real comparison to the light its allegedly an upgrade to other than its physical appearance on a lit table, yet constantly calling it an ‘upgrade’ to the SR2. Where is the side by side comparison of the beam outdoors, especially given the supposed lumen difference? What impact does that lumen increase have on battery life? Didn’t find this overly useful in making an informed purchase decision, feels like more of an olight advert / paid review or a quick way to promote commission links. I suspect all of the above.

It's OK. I prefer the Warrior Mini 2 and that brown is hideous. ODG all day.
The proximity sensor is total MISTAKE. The flashlight with this amount of light should be offer a light for self defense but with this sensor you better run than switch on this light. Flashlight is not a drone, I don't want any sensor inside! OLIGHT come on!
So I have 3 olights in my collection it's not big, but I don't have a baton so not everyone has now you have to account for stupid people like me. Plus or olight customer service is terrible 😔
Neutral white is not as bright as cool white…..
Thats just they way your eyes perceive light, held up to a light meter they both produce the same amount of lumens....eyes are a horrible light meter

Hot take but I don’t use clips on 18650 and smaller battery lights. Unnecessary and compete for pocket edge real estate with knives.
