  • Hello everyone! In this video, I'm putting the CBR300R to the test on the highway. While this bike is undeniably fantastic around the city, the big question is, does it perform just as well on the open road? Let's find out!

    Also this bike makes max power at 8500 rpm. If you ride it below 6k rpm you won't notice the powerband which really is active between 6.5k to 10k rpm before it tapers out.

    You said it has 5 gears. I have the same bike they have 6. I didn't get mine for the freeway here in the U.S. I got it to ride the country back roads near my house and to ride to town on.

    You need a fast bike in Australia, you need to be able to outrun those spiders that carry off unwary tourists. Oh, shorts? Shorts on a bike? Are you looking to become a grease mark on the road?...Lol.

    I ride this bike in 30kph+ winds and in the rain for work. The bike sucks in wind. Combined with rain it feels like your gonna get the bottom blown out from under you.
    Good old Wellington weather..

    Nice bike...but there's no such thing as a Honda CBR300RR - and what you have is just a regular CBR300R

    Will this bike be good for someome who weighs 136 kilos or 300 lbs.

      IaMaWeSoMe7478 probably not it may feel sluggish and most likely wouldn’t have enough power for highway riding. I’d recommend a 500 for around 300lbs, that way it’s manageable for you but still would have pickup and would allow you to do highways

    Also you're getting thrown up by the wind because you're wearing lose clothing which is picking up all that wind and throwing your body around. Pick a better, tight fitting leather jacket and riding pants next time. Another tip would be to not sit up straight if you intend to do over 140kph. Tuck in all the way and have your helmet behind the windscreen for better aerodynamics. You'll see 160 on your speedo in no time. Also, when you have crosswinds its better to have loose grip on the handlebars. The tighter you grab it the more you have to fight the bike to keep it stable.

      Ridden other bikes in worse conditions in the same clothing. The bike can't handle wind. Wear a full race suit this bike is still rubbish in the wind.

      I dont ride to fall off

    • @cagednm69
      @cagednm69 7 лет назад

      Nobody does. But don't forget to say hello to that cager who will at some point knock you off the bike because "he didn't see you". Squids only learn their mistakes after the hospital stints. Good luck being a squid.

      I have mates in wheelchairs because vans and cars pulled out in front of them going 30kph. broken neck cant walk ever again. The leather jacket is not going to save me when a truck runs over my head.
      If you do not have the road awareness to know your surroundings to avoid being hit then maybe you should stick to public transport riding is risky and unsafe no matter what.

    Keep on splinting cars like that until some one decides to open the door to dump a coca cola left over on the road

      lane filtering is legal in Melbourne and cars know the rules, riding for 5 years in Melbourne never had any problems.
