I’ve connected to Brigid when doing ancestor work. When I invoke “the spirits of my ancestors and the deities of my ancestors and ancestors of my ancestors,” usually when requesting protection or justice I can feel Her presence. She first appeared to me in a guided meditation I did when I lived back east a long time ago before I moved to Seattle. She was had many bright green and ruddy garments and adornments with very strawberry blonde hair. Surrounded by light and pouring water from her hands. (Aquarius energy?) I also think She corresponds to Isis as an archetype, too.
That bright shine, briseid(spelling?) connected to Freja in nordic asatro too. She has "brísingamen", her glowing jewllery that many reckon also is a torque from the celtics😊
She is who I have see the Divine Feminine in. She has been with me since I been walking my witchey path, about 20+ years. Thank you for sharing about Her.
I've actually been to an event many years ago for Imbolcc and we did some helpful, fun activities working with Brigid. It was very nice. Since then I've studied and worked with a few African deities and now I'm only practicing yoga with chanting and working with Hindu pantheon. Peace, Tameko
I do not And I would not recommend it. The only time that would be OK would be in a very specific evocation type of scenario. But that is a whole matter itself. Because the issue with offerings as a communication is that you are giving some thing in exchange for already receiving some thing. So taking more while you’re giving put a slant on the exchange.
That's weird, brigid prefers to eat offerings through me. Ra does the same, however Artemis and Hermes prefer me put the food offerings on their altars then once the ceremony is done I may eat the offerings myself. I think it depends on the deity and such. I suggest asking your deity what they prefer.

9:20 wait, lightning isn't concentrated fire? Avatar the last Airbender you've failed me 😅
do you think it is useful to drink and eat the offerings for the deity or spirit experience the sensation through us?
