I struggle a bit with flying and have this flight in a couple months. This video helped me out a lot on what to expect!! How was the turbulence in this aircraft?
This was my first time experiencing turbulence, I didn't mind that at all, there was just casual small shakes here and there - but nothing to worry about. I actually enjoyed the shaking business 👀
@harrisonslough3765 I've mostly flown on smaller aircraft, and mostly within New Zealand where the conditions are sometimes a bit turbulent. I am used to the little bumps that may happen on the occasional flight here in New Zealand. The A380 is one of the safest planes too! Thankfully, turbulence is _no_ cause for concern.👍 As @rasinaviation wrote here, I also _do_ enjoy any bumps whenever a flight may have one!🤗
I love going on emirates and it brings me tears of when I used to fly and me remembering the music because emirates stopped flying to adelaide and I have not gone overseas in 7 years. Hopefully I am going at the end of this year and hopefully it will be on emirates
I was once in the same position as you! I haven't flown Emirates since 2016 until last year. I haven't even visited my home country (Bangladesh) since 2012 😢. Hopefully I'll fly to Bangladesh soon. As for you, hopefully you'll fly Emirates. It's quite the experience!
I was born in dubai but indian orgin so i would go to india and come back to dubai and then go to qatar and the middle-estern countries and emirates is the best i would love the fly again in emirates and im really happy about all my trips so i really recomend emirates even tho its pricey i would pay it to go 101%
8:17 the flaps are electrically driven not hydraulically. The sound you hear is the electric motor operating. One thing I hate about the A380 is that it rarely does smooth landings, unlike the B747.
Thank you! Emirates is certainly an airline you wouldn't want to miss flying on. I haven't flown on Etihad yet, once I do I'll see how it compares with Emirates 😁
I did the trip Zurich to Dubai and then on to Sydney and the same on the way home in Business Class on Emirates in 2015, frst time flying Business and first time with Emirates. Great trip.
For a first flight with Emirates, I would say you're very lucky! Myself (Rasin) first flew with Emirates from Sydney to Auckland in 2016. I believe that you live in Europe, taking into account that you flew from Zurich. There's a surprise waiting for you, as Tom (who also runs this channel) flew to Europe a few weeks ago and will he uploading his trips here very soon! - Rasin
@@rasinaviation yes i’m Swiss, live in the east of Switzerland, lived in Sydney for a few years, was visiting friends there, flew Business Class because of a disc problem in my lower back, the bed in Emirates was very comfortable. Look forward to the videos you mentioned.
@LM H I see that Emirates really values their customers. They tried to give you the best experience even if you had any limitations. I have yet to try their business class, not sure when 😅. - Rasin
@@rasinaviationThanks 😊 alot 💞❤ i am extremely enthusiastic Emirates Airlines fann from Pakistan 🇵🇰 I will definitely fly again and again only with Emirates Airways 🥰😊💞❤ Emirates Airlines should just keep their overall service fabulous and perfect and expand their destinations in the near future.
Sydney Airport closes around 10-11pm because of the noise pollution the planes make, therefore residents can't sleep. Which is fine, however shops closing at 8 is too early. They should close 9:30pm max!
Place is a joke. Have done the 5am flight to Dubai and not one coffee shop was open. Then one opened but all the way back at entrance a line was out of control. Very disappointing airport.
Yeah I agree, that's why they're building the new Western Sydney Airport which will open in around 2-3 years. There will be no curfew (will be 24 hour operational) so shops and restaurants will be fully open.
@Onel600 Aha, don't worry, It's been one year since I've last flown, have no idea when I'll be flying next. But I can tell you that when you're back to doing what you love after quite a while, that nervousness will bring that kick!
i have done it many times economy and business.......now they are upgrading their a 380s premium economy should be a must for that flight or Melbourne -Dubai......economy its outdated and i always choose aisle seat
I see that you are a very respected Emirates flyer! I do have to agree with you that for a flight this length, comfortability and hospitality need to be valued. A review of Emirates' Premium Economy class is a must and hopefully we'll do one in the near future. - Rasin
@kostas vasilopoulos You are right, airfares are at an all-time high for a number of reasons: Rising jet fuel prices, staff shortages, flight cancellations, and increased demand for travel.
Hi, this review was recorded back in January 2022, so obviously things have changed since then. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it is not necessary to have any COVID-19 testing documents, restrictions have been relaxed. Unless you are flying to a country which is experiencing a COVID-19 wave, you don't need to worry about COVID-19 when flying. - Rasin
Hi Jas, Emirates only offers hot towels in economy on flights over 9 hours and 30 mins. In Business Class, they're offered on ground and before landing. In First Class, they are offered on ground, after each meal and before landing. Hope that helped! - Rasin
It's just how the flight was planned to be, takeoff from Sydney at night. Flight time to Dubai was 14 hours, and Dubai is 7 hours behind Sydney. So 14 hours later (landing) we arrived in Dubai during the night too. Which is quite unfortunate because my camera tends to be poor in the dark :(
Yep, Emirates is unique. The Australian Government is building the new Western Sydney Airport which will open in around 2-3 years. There will be no curfew (will be 24 hour operational) so shops and restaurants will be fully open.
Hi, after doing some quick research, the legroom in Emirates A380 Economy Class is 32". Personally my height is 5'9 and I had no issues. Now, about yourself, you should be fine. 32" is a lot of legroom! - Rasin

It's really wonderful to see the journey in the plane which I haven't any experience in the plane ever before
That's my job! I love sharing my experience, as my viewers and I learn together.
Why was it a hard landing was it windy ?
Flown this route twice. Enjoyed every minute of it. That landing though😅
That landing was something else XD
One thing I hate about the A380 is that it rarely does smooth landings, unlike the B747.
If you were sleeping, you would’ve been waken up by this hard touchdown!

Hi, The A380 slats are moved by an electric motor and a hydraulic motor whereas the flaps are driven purely by hydraulic motors.
