I am watching travel videos by plane around the clock. Been flying with 20 major carriers maybe 20 times around the globe ( in miles ). After all of that i can say that Emirates is still absolutely top notch.
Totally agree with the positive comments; flew Emirates from Melb.to Cairo and returned to Aust. via Singapore, great flights there and back. Maintain that a code share with Qantas is the way to go with the service flown by Emirates. Wins all round.
I’ve travel with Emirates back in 2017 and in my personal opinion Emirates is by far and my favourite airline in the world🌎💯 I’ve had the best experience with them, professional service, helpful cabin crew, seats were really comfortable, the food was 10/10, I always feel safe when it comes to Emirates❤️ best in business😮💨🔥 so if you’re travelling and looking for airlines! I would definitely recommend Emirates😘💯
I love Qantas the best but this time I booked Emirates (first time) through Qantas because they go Melbourne-Dubai-Paris. I’m sure I’ll love it. So good to hear your POV. 🇦🇺
Everything is true apart from the seats.. omg those seats are horrible after a 33hr flight my back and bum was hurting me for a month. They really need to look at fixing the seats way too stiff..
@@HaxorBallistic Not much of a difference in terms of aircraft comfort but in terms of service and time, I think the 5-6am departure is best. A. If you are flying directly to Dubai, you’ll arrive at 1pm and that allows you to checkin to your hotel at the standard time. B. If you are flying to Europe and want to arrive in the evening instead of the early morning/afternoon, then go for the 6am departure. It arrives at 1pm, so you can connect to the 2-4pm European flights. C. The 5-6am departure flight is shorter than the 9-10pm one. Usually the flight time for EK409 is always under 13h 30m, but EK407 is always between 13h 30m - 14h.
I used to fly KAL from Seoul (Incheon) to Atlanta on a A380,... 14 hours of seats with enough room for a tall guy,...and the best red pepper spread. Fl ew China Eastern from Seoul to Qingdao, best lotus root salad on Earth.
Omg it bought back memories… My father passed November 2022. We live in Melbourne Australia and his wish was to be taken to his home roots to be buried. So we did the very long trip to Chania Crete Greece we buried my father in Crete. I returned back to Melbourne in February 2023, and my mother wanted to stay in Chania Crete for my fathers one year of passing. I’m going back in September 2023 again to bring my mother back home to Melbourne and to stay till end of November for the year passing of my father. I’m dreading the flight there and back again,,, Yes food is delicious, the staff are great, toilets do get a little messy. And the seats… OMG those seats are way too hard.. It took me over a month to recover. My back and bottom was hurting.. softer seats would be a great idea. I’m looking at a 33hr flight with layovers too.. Really not looking forward to the flight I love flying doesnt bother me at all, just so long.. Have a great holiday. Thank you for the video Cant wait to see more of your videos.
The Emirates A380 is superb. I don’t expect a lot in economy but a decent meal and drinks on long haul is very appreciated. I think Qantas has deteriorated in service although I’m not a frequent flyer.
Of course Emirates is superb compared to Quantas. Emirates gets aircraft fuel for nothing. As other Arabian airlines too. Meanwhile I avoid to look reports of airline bloggers because most of them make advertising for arabian airlines.
We have just returned from NZ flying there and back on emirates economy and will say I will never do it again. The seats were so uncomfortable, I can count on one hand how professional the cabin crew were and the delays were a nightmare. This was very disappointing as I had done an enormous amount of research for these flights before I booked them and was left feeling very let down by emirates.
That’s so sad, Susan. Would you consider next time paying a little more for Premium Economy? Done my fair share of under par Economy flights over the year. Gotta have comfort. Cheers from 🇦🇺
@@michaelwhitney4196 Hello Michael I'll be making a similar trip from houston IAH in June myself. Still debating on whether economy will be ok or if to do the business class since 14 hours is quite a long time. Let me know how your journey on board goes!
lol a paper hmm an interesting thing to find. You do know it’s a barf bag. Also you can’t compare the seats from one airline to another, especially when it’s a totally different plane than other one. One is Boeing the other is airbus. Now had you been on the A380 on both trips and one was more comfortable then maybe.
Airline seats are an industry of their own, with plenty of aircraft and airlines sharing the same model of seat across fleets. You will find many examples of the same seat model on Airbus and Boeing models, right up and down the ranges. As for "you can't compare seats from one airline to another" - of course you can! There wouldn't be much for reviewers to talk about if we couldn't make points of reference 😉
We paid for extra leg room seats, got row 67b and 67c. Just two seats on their own on an exit aisle. Never again. We were so uncomfortable. The seats seemed narrower and not so deep as the ordinary seating, nowhere to put anything. The meal trays were. Lot smaller, Neve had such an uncomfortable flight. Asked for a second alcoholic drink, bearing in mind it is a 14 hour flight, and the request for a second alcoholic drink was refused. Well, excuse me, but I did pay £1400 for my seat as did my husband. Not business class prices I must admit, but one glass of alcoholic 14 hours. I don’t think that’s unreasonable. Have flown Emirates quite a few times now to and from Australia. Probably not again.
Considering this journey from London to Dubai to Australia to New Zealand but 14 hours seems a very long time, could we cope with that ?? Let me know if you have done this, what was it like ?
It's rough but manageable. With Emirates at least you won't go hungry and should have plenty of entertainment. Emirates seats are pretty firm though - if you get sore on long flights it might be worth shelling out for premium economy.

Nikolaus, what others carriers have been your best?
@@AnneMB955 Singapore Airlines. Back in the days Qatar Airways ( not now. This year they were only average ) Cathay Pacific & EVA Air.

Nice review. I've done both the 6am and 10pm flights many times on the A380. It's always a great experience with EK!!!
Thanks a lot! Such a great plane to fly on. We've got a video on their 777 coming up soon :)

Omg! We had a similar flight.. the only diff thing is mine was in 2024.. lol
At minute 13 I noticed at breakfast that coffee was served. Isn't there also the possibility to drink tea? Black tea or green tea, for example.
Yes there are plenty of drink options to choose from, we just needed the caffeine 😁
Amazing, just subbed :)))
I will be on Emirates A388 from Houston to Dubai..soon..14.5hrs in business class…you have a vlog on this? 👍👍😎

nice to See A380 but I thought it was shut down by Airbus please explain this
