The last couple times I have visited the park with friends for 2 days, we have gotten fast lane plus for both days each time. It's expensive but each of us are over 6 hours from the park so for us it's worth it. It gives us the ability to get everything in as many times as we want and if something goes down we don't have to sweat it we can just move on and come back later. Highly recommend for folks that live super out of town.
Yes, I brought out of country friends on a Cedar Point trip and they could only visit over the weekend so we got fast lane and hit everything we wanted, but we went in JUNE!!! Not AUGUST. I knew the rides would not be weak yet and we only caught a couple storms on one day, so rode front car the other day on everything all day! That was worth it for us on that trip.
I always get lucky I guess. I go at the end of may each time and never have issues with rides or fast lane. Just a great time. Def worth it when I only go once a year and come from Pittsburgh.
I always used fast lane plus every time I visit there, Steel Vegeanace lap bar was unenjoyable rough in the back row. But I still ride Millennium Force,Power Tower both sides, Raptor in rows 3 and 6 with just one push of the shoulder harness to get the safety belt to latch instead of using double belts, Front row on Rougarou, Gatekeeper Valravn without using extended belt.
I bought Fast Lane Plus for the first time on the last Friday of the season last year because it was just ridiculously crowded, and I think I only got about 10 rides in. Granted, I wasn't moving at breakneck speed or really strategizing much, but for $150 I agree with you that it wasn't really worth it. I haven't bothered with it since. I'm especially hesitant to buy it again because I have a season pass. As you've said before, I think it's better to invest in spending more time at the park rather than less time with Fast Lane. Great video, as always! Also, extra toasty Taylor was quite entertaining! 😂
All season fast lane, if you wanna shed the money for it, is worth it. No doubt. That’s what both Andrew and mark have. But daily fast lane for almost (or over) 200 dollars a day, is almost certainly not really worth it IMO.
When I went we purchased FL+, and felt it was worth it, but disliked the merge points. And for the vegan options, the only thing we found was fries and a salad. We decided to eat fries for lunch, and ate at Tomo or TGIFs for dinner. I lost five pounds for that week 😂 lastly, love your videos
That's the reason I'm not going to Cedar Point until they find improvements to their fast lane. The merge points sucks and not severely limiting purchases causing long lines in fast lines.
Interesting, I remember when we were always entering Gemini from both sides, and I think my brother and I rode Gemini 150 times in 1 day back in the eighties!!! No fast lane required.................................................................thanks for sharing!!
I have a gold pass, so I'm able to avoid weekends at CP. So I've not had to buy FL+ this season. However I do buy the single use FL for SV and Maverick, I think it's totally worth it to avoid an hour+ wait.
10:51, I totally agree. They've changed Steel Vengeanc's Fast Lane since the last time I visited in 2019. That is my "must ride" ride at the park, not TTSuchandsuch....which was down that whole day.
Fast lane at every park is worth it but Cedar Point. CP merges half their lines with regular lines and way to expensive and not to mention their coasters go down more than any park I’ve been to.
I hate the way fast lane is now at steel vengeance and really any ride that blends the fast lane in with the regular line. At kings island every ride is like Maverick and Valraven a dedicated line for fast lane.
Id still say its worth it on most day's, just with two issues one of which you bring up in the merge points. The rides most wanted to use fastlane on are almost always the ones with a crap merge point (rougarous sucks too considering its line is almost always that merge or less anyway) but also the over selling of it. They claim "theres a limited number" but never once in the 3 years ive been at the park have i seen it sell out. Even on one of the busiest halloweekends Saturday's it still didnt sell out when mavericks fastlane was pouring out to nearly the normal ride entrance
Honestly only rides I really think fast lane would be worth it is for maverick and steel vengeance but I never used fast lane and there is quite a few days where I can usually ride all steel coasters coasters and gemini in a day
Fast Lane is so oversold at CP that it's not worth it most days. Honestly I prefer Kings Island as the coasters are just as good and their lines are manageable even without fast lane.
Kings island is an awesome park, but its coasters are not just as good, imo. SteVe, Maverick, MF and (the world's most expensive ornament) TT2 are world class coasters, and I'm not sure any of the big 4 at KI are.
Cedar Point Fastlane may not be worth it...but a buff Andrew in a sleveless muscle shirt is ALWAYS worth it!! The only thing better is when he is TOTALLY shirtless!!!!! Andrew is the only CLICKBAIT worth CLICKING, the only THIRSTRAP worth DRUELING OVER, the only MUSCLES that bring MEMORIES!!!!!!!!!!

I was in your row for raptor that day. When the seat broke and they were doing trivia.
I remember you!
Gemini is one coaster that would probably do better just to have the old layout queue.
I challenge Taylor to a 3 point shootout contest the next time I'm there!
Hope I get to see that!

Its so worth it. Been there like 36 times this year and every single time there are several moments of "thank god i have all season fast lane"

We’ll have to try this again next trip when the park should be way less crowded. Sad when fast lanes are only worth it during off peak days lol
Always down!
He really is the white Larry bird
Taylor is probably the whitest guy I know. lol
It’s definitely worth it.

Fast pass for the Old Pirate ride would be u operating it.
it's 100% worth it at Dorney. I can't wait to buy the fast lane season pass next year ... especially for the water park lol
Since I only get to go once a year, I always buy fast lane. If I lived close and had a season pass, I probably wouldn't.

@@jsmith0121 They are nearly as good in my opinion. Getting to ride 5x more coasters with less stress (and walking) makes KI a better park overall.

What do you think? Worth it? or No? Tell us why below!
Cedar Point operations continues to be one of the worst of any major sized theme park. Don’t even bother going there anymore.
