Thanks for the video Justin. That turned out nice. You could totally make a bunch and sell them. I'd buy one for my fixed blades.

They would look nice on a fixed blade. I do sell them mainly locally. Thanks Jay

Thanks for the shout out. Nice tutorial, but I'm a 9mm guy, but we can still be friends :-) . Thanks again for showing it, I'll try to make one this weekend.

I do 9mm ones as well. My Steel Will Modus had a 9mm casing on it. But I got rid of my 9mm recently. Had a Ruger LC9 and I hated it. I'm actually in search of a new 9mm. No problem man, you got a great channel. Gotta give credit where credits due. Thanks man👍

...nice...the reason we add lanyards, is because there's a hole in the knife for it :) ! .....

Right! You almost have to. Feels naked when I get a knife without a lanyard hole. Thanks man

So how do you connect two different color paracord?

  • @RoyFernbach

I do paracording for the past 5+ years. What you have made is a "wall knot"... not the snake knot. They are both similar, but the snake knot loops back into the knot above. A lot of people get these two confused because the first knot to get them started is the same, but the 2nd one goes behind and down thru the 2nd bite of the one above.
Search around for different youtube channels versions of snake knots and wall knots and see the difference.

I've been doing it for around 6 months and I always get those two mixed up. Thanks for setting me straight. Thanks Roy

Well... That was a down and dirty little lanyard, but you did good... I do mine a little different. I think if you took your time a little bit more, it would have turned out awesome. and I don't drill my shells out... I thread my cord through the primer hole when do that style. I enjoyed the video a lot... good job Justin!

Thanks Bruce. I was waiting for your comment since you're the lanyard king. I made it quicker than usual to save time on the video. When I make mine I'm very meticulous. Thanks bro
