This will depend on State/Provincial law, mind you! In Saskatchewan (where I live in), Volunteer firefighters here CAN use red lights and sirens, and have the same rights, priority, privileges as a fire truck does, etc. So you still need to Gtfo of the way for a Volunteer firefighter pov here in Saskatchewan. Alberta, Ontario and Quebec uses green courtesy lights with no special rights or privileges, and no siren.
Do you still use that light bar? I just purchased two of those (Red and White) and two (Amber) plan on mounting the ambers in the back and the red and whites in the front.
I would say less than 200, so not very many. We operate in a vicinity of about 15-20k people, so its not like we run a huge metro area. Also, our dept does not run ambulances, another private company takes care of that.
I have a question so yesterday morning on 4-4-2022 my nephew had a seizure and fall and he went unconscious 4 a little while and my sister and her husband called an ambulance and they ran my nephew code 3 all the 2 Medford Oregon from Grant's Pass Oregon which bout 30miles south of us and the ambulance driver told my sister's husband 2 active his emergency flasher lights can they do that I just wanna make sure they weren't breaking any laws of the road AMR ambulance driver said stay directly on there bumper and my uncle in law was allowed 2 break every rule of the road he's ok though we don't know what brought that on my nephew but I'm glad he's safe have a good day and be safe I used 2 be one of u guys but I got a DUI so my fire chief said he had 2 let me go I was on a volunteer firefighter in Williams Oregon 4 bout close 2 like 2yrs
Cool how you guys get to use lights. In New Zealand your not allowed to have any lights or sirens on your personal vehicle.

Ohio has the same POV laws that Saskatchewan has. Other States, Idk.
Curious does the department allow you to carry your turnouts in a pov since I’ve seen you going to scenes mainly in video was just curious
Where I am, Lots of our departments are all volunteers so we carry gear in our POV's since many of us respond to scene.
Okay I was curious about that didn’t know
I do carry my turnouts in my POV. The trucks leave before I am even paged out so there's no way for me to make it on a truck.
When will you do a tour of your car or truck i wanna know what vehicle your using
2014 Dodge Charger

I do, but both of mine have broken pretty quickly... Guess that's what comes with a $20 light.
@@allthingsfire1509 How did they break? So I can try to avoid it
@@RuralVFF Just broke on its own. No clue how.
Are those red and white lights your also lucky to have a siren in the state of Indiana your only allowed to have blue lights and no siren in your pov
Yes they are!
That's what I love about Arkansas. Red and White and a siren a blaring!!
what dash/desk light is that?
A cheap one I found on amazon. It seems to work well. As if my visor lights aren't enough, lol.
@@allthingsfire1509 i got a light bar , dash light and hodeaways. Lights are like tattoos and guns addictive
How many calls do y’all get a year?

AllThingsFire Ah okay. I’m in New York and we just had 550+ and we don’t run EMS, so we get pretty busy.
Charger?
it is
What siren do you have
PA300
Do you have POV light video?
Not yet, I plan on doing one at some point. I just have to find the time to do it.
What department do you work for? Paid or volunteer?
I think he said Part-time in one of his other videos don't know the department but he might not want anyone to know
