Nice system, but the fact that you have to bolt your phone into the cage unlike the quick connection of the beast cage is a problem, as is the lack of USB-c connection on the handle for an SSD card, the hub is way too bulky for a run and gun shoot, other than that, it's pretty cool.
I want this for android so bad.. specially the cooler with maybe reverse wireless charging and qi2. On android, there is a big need for better cooling, since it's possible to film in raw with insane quality, and even encode on the fly to prores log for example. Ofc it's extremely difficult for the soc and GPU, so the cooler should be really really nice. The only thing I find it missing was some way to attach external lenses.. 17mm adapter for reflex lenses for example.
The proprietary filters, of which there are only four and no polariser, undercuts the whole rationale for this. What’s important? A place to put business cards and a cage that you need a screwdriver to open.
I wish they did a live demo presentation of the total setup and integration of unit with Blackmagic instead of talking about what it can do u can only demonstrate how good a product is with a visual proven concept
@@ThePandaPhotographerI don’t believe they are. Do you have a link or something where you saw they were? If you look at their design the top appears to be too wide to stack them.
@@goodbear_goodblair can you just take the time to go to their website and you can see for yourself the information. but you might be right, they have photos of it advertising in a way it looks like you can stack
were getting to the point where you might as well just buy a regular camera again. people shoot on the phone because its convenient. yeah these phone camera videos look great but if youre gonna bolt on an ecosystem then you're creating a permanent "camera", its no longer a phone with a camera. who's gonna take a call with all that snapped on? I guess it's cool but. I dunno. if I needed a small B cam id just buy a BMPCC4K or an alpha.
Nice looking cage. Titles does make cool looking bits and bobs…. but this is just too locked in (proprietary)for me… it’s a shame my three favourite rigging accessories companies tilt/smallr/? are really pushing forward with proprietary clamping and mounting taking away the lego nature which we loved… obviously driving price points up too… especially with how phone companies make micro millimetre changes to dimensions which mean you now have to change(spend) everything… would have been great if I could simply integrate even my camera accessories as one complete system that is backward and forward compatible irrelevant of the phone… miss the days when nato rails, from every maker just worked in harmony… Also trying to work out why one would put their wallet on a filmmaking rig… didn’t think I needed it on my camera cage…
The handle should have had a SD card slot for external recording.

Can you connect an external mic since the USB C is being used to power the phone.
you would need to purchase the USB-C Hub accessory that is offered in this ecosystem
Cool and thank you!
What gimbal would you use with this rig?

my wildest dreams came true. Love you Tilta
Can you use the focus/zoom dials on stock iPhone camera app?
I would love it if I can use the focus handle with an extension arm so I don’t have to hold up the phone to my face.

I want this now, I build my own
Quick disconnect for everything except the phone itself is a massive oversight. No one wants to carry a camera cage in their pocket 24/7.

Beastgrip still has no serious competition :)
are filters stackable ?
Yes

This is awesome, hope other brand like samsung will have an equivalent
bought!
Can’t not look at the bad fitment of the cap on the Tilta guy 😂

Why didn't they call me and I would have made the design with a Panda look (hehe)
His mum definitely dropped him off this morning.
😂😂😂😂😂
What a rep.. doesn’t even know the battery capacity of what he’s selling
