Sweet Potatoes are my current favorite pick-me-up! I’m enjoying them with another food on the list - Dark Chocolate! Simply roast a sweet potato until the flesh is soft and the natural sugars nicely caramelize (about an hour at 350 degrees). Cool, remove the skin and mash the potato. Add 1-2 tbsp of 100% dark cocoa powder. Enjoy! This is great warmed back up or cold from the fridge. It’s decadent with a little nut butter (cashew butter’s sweetness compliments the sweet potato well, 1-2 tbsp). If enjoying cold, thin with 2-4 tbsp of milk for a delicious dark chocolate pudding (again cashew milk is a nice compliment). Tada! Sweet tooth satisfied, with nutrient dense goodness.
When I'm cooking kale or collards which are my favorite greens I use the olive oil and garlic like you suggested but also throw in a can of diced tomatoes which just adds a lot
I started taking flax seed oil as a quick and easy omega and it has helped. It's not a cute but I'm going to implement more of your suggestions into my diet again. 😊
Thanks for this! Can you recommend your top supplements to take to support anxiety and depression relief? I am vegan and also watching my oil intake. Thanks so much! (I know you have a plant-based nutritionist on your team).
I was cured of severe depession with antibiotics. A Chinese doctor told me I had bad gut bacteria and she also traced it to five foods that triggered it.
