    The Honda jazz will still feel like a great car with 150k on the clock when a fiesta will be shagged..it's incredibly reliable and fords generally are not!!

    In my opinion this is one of the best looking small cars around. Much better than the new 2016 Jazz. If released today, it would still look futuristic. I've just bought one.

      For me as well I think it’s the best looking. It has a pointed bonnet which makes it aggressive and sporty. The version after this has a square shape view, which is look like that of a minivan

    I wanted to get a Fiesta at first, but when I saw this interior I changed my mind. The interior in the Fiesta looks more dead or boring.

    Bought a Honda Jazz EX (2014 model) two years ago, great little car, getting 48.6 mpg and find it quite nippy. The "magic seats" are great as I can get all my angling tackle in without a problem. The panoramic roof does make it quite airy.

    My Honda Jazz surprised me with the excellent MPG in town, the needle hardly moved ! The acceleration was pretty good with the smooth CVT auto box.
    Easy to service with massive boot space, and Japanese reliability, you realy can't go wrong !
    No timing chain to worry about like the Golf, and cheap service parts.
    Not exciting car to drive, but solid car !

    People seem to be missing the point over the jazz in the looks dept. It doesn't look as good as a corsa or fiesta it doesn't drive as well either but practicality wise it can't be beat and the ivtec engine will keep on running long after a corsa or fiesta are dead it the all round package that sells the jazz the perfect driving position around visibility the magic seats ,things that other cars can't touch if you don't like it's shape don't buy one .

      As a 2011 Jazz owner I'll admit I purely bought it for reliability and cheap motoring. However I happen to like the look of this particular model. I don't particularly think the Corsa or Fiesta look any better (I prefer the Jazz).
      If it's looks you want the Mini or Fiat 500 would seem better options, both the exterior and interior. However neither are as reliable or practical.
      If the Honda Jazz didn't exist I'd probably be looking at something like the Kia Venga which is pretty reliable and practical. The Mazda 2 and Suzuki Swift are also very reliable little cars though the space isn't as usable.

    On the emissions being higher than the competition I find it hard to believe that tech savvy company like Honda should be so behind their rivals.I wonder if they are being a little more honest than the others.Crazy I know but just a thought

    • @stevied6286
      @stevied6286 4 года назад +5

      And those gizmos that other manufacturers fit to reduce emissions FAIL costing huge money to replace. The Honda 1.4vtec is one of the world's most reliable engines..I'll take a few quid more in road tax than a few grand more in repairs!!

    • @GaryBox
      @GaryBox Год назад +1

      I think Honda just decided to accept higher emissions as they didn't want to sacrifice reliability. Most cars that are more efficient have a turbo fitted. Take a look at how expensive it is to change a timing belt on some petrols and how many issues people are getting with these small puretech or ecotech engines. I'm not convinced these high power 1.0 or 1.2 turbo engines will last anything like as long as a Honda iVtec engine.

    • @stevied6286
      @stevied6286 4 года назад +2

      The best way is first with a damp cloth and detergent ,then a damp cloth to rinse, and then spray with a water repellant spray like GT85 or WD40..spray on and wipe off with microfiber cloth..taking care to avoid belts. GT85 is the best as it re blacks all the hoses and waterpipes.

      @@Greatdane-qf8kd It's been a great car. Broke both axle shafts because Honda puts a rubber ring around the shaft that just collects dirt and moisture. Done a bunch of maintenance just to make it feel newish again lol. 333,000km now

    Bought new 2014 - not as well built as you would think. Faulty rear seatbelt clip (replaced under warranty), fuel gauge stopped working one day then suddenly came back on. Radio forgets channels every now and then. Air bag replaced under recall. Also the red paint scratches easily, same goes for key buttons.

    they want to look modern but its just ugly.
