Thanks guys, it's useful to see what charging is like in France, brilliant, clearly! We're embarking on a France road trip to the Alps for skiing in Jan in our Niro EV, so feeling more confident now 👍
So pleased it was helpful :) Charging in France is a breeze - have you watched @MrEV? He has useful French charging tips too and I think he's done some episodes in his Niro. You'll have a wonderful trip I am sure.
#alwaysbecleaning #alwaysbecharging. Now I want to get a handheld vacuum to keep in my car 😀. Looks like a great location. I would have gone into the store and emerged some time later with bags of French goodies.
It was an excellent investment 😂 with the size of the E Leclerc your car would definitely have been charged in the time it would take to get around the place and stock up on goodies!
@@ComeChargeWithUs-e8x well … considering I went for a non Tesla I’d imagine (clearly an assumption) the thinking may be the same. Hopefully the Tesla fans don’t get too aggy should you do it. Happy to share my ideas with you guys if needed 👍🏼
@@ComeChargeWithUs-e8x. Would definitely watch that. Tesla is one car I have never driven or even been a passenger in. I have always said that if I was still driving the motorways all week, I would have a Tesla. However, not heard good things about ride comfort, which is important to us.
Yes! Happy to hear.....I guess in a marriage there's give and take and the Tesla was Phil's dream so I relented 😂 I concede that from practical/charging/ranges point of view its a good car but it has so many negatives as a car vs being a computer on wheels.....
@@ComeChargeWithUs-e8x that makes sense - my concern was range & charging also but found it to be a non-issue; i did a couple of Tesla test drives along with 2x48hr test drives in a Polestar and hired one from Hertz (very cheap) for a week too. This convinced me that charging outside of the Tesla infrastructure was fine as I knew I’d only do 20% charging on the road. The need for a “proper” car with dials and buttons and not a computer on wheels won the day. Not at all keen on the way Tesla’s going as i find it too distracting / dangerous. With them gradually opening their charging stations and using ABRP (Enode enabled) Tesla’s USP is weakening - which I believe they’re happy with as they’re leading the charge for electric cars. Hope that makes sense?
I wish your video gets millions of views because you have great content. Try running ads for your channel using some kind of system.

Good to see how many ionity there are there now, we used them in ~2020 and there were only 4 and had a big queue
Yes, it's a site with lots of charging capacity! Highly recommended :)
One of the hazards of driving through France is you come home with a car full of Baguette & Pastry Crumbs!
Yep! Or quiche....or other pastry goodness 😂
Another good one guys ! Still interested to hear why you don’t like the Tesla …
How long have you got!! Maybe we should do an episode dedicated to it.....(joking, that would not generate many views!)
