I get everyone thinks this sux but is there an alternative? If you are actually someone who skates you wouldn't even need this game. I am pretty sure those of us who are not skaters will do just fine.
I still think it’s kinda sad how bad this game was all these years later. I know what Tony Hawk was trying to do too. I’ve played the arcade game that inspired this. The whole “use an actual board as a controller” thing was dope but if only Activision And Tony himself would’ve said “the technology just isn’t there”, maybe we wouldn’t have been so disappointed. Maybe the team could’ve tinkered a bit more with sensitivity or wait for the technology to catch up. Nevertheless, we’re stuck with the timeline where we never get a good game that captures the feel of that arcade game. SMH.
