My dad had one of these in the mid 60s when I was a child. This brings back memories !
Nice to see an Iowa car, not many Whippet's around anywhere!
i'll bet the back story on this car would be interesting.
Oh, that junkyard digs fella said come check out this guys channel.... OK, start at video #1. You got me😊 WHIPPET!!! SWEET!!!
I'll be subbin' and watchin'! THNX!
Cristy patina. Luv it
I had a 1929 Whippet Model 96A which had a finger tip control switch. Mine was modified as the switches needed upgrading. Bosch no longer make the switch. It appears this 98A also had the starter on the Steering Wheel, not on the floor. Our 96A is still in the family in Albany Western Australia and like this one is unrestored but still going!
Love this car, even more in its shape!! Would daily drive it!
Kevin & Mook of Junkyard Digs recommended you. Great to meet you Steve. Love the Whippet!
If I remember correctly, the Whippet was an economy car that just couldn't be produced fast enough. Love the King kit car near the garage door.
Nice old original car. I grew up a couple of blocks away from the factory where this car was built in Toledo, Ohio. Subscribed.
Looks like it was found on the bottom of a lake ,😊but its runs amazing, and not many built, and less exist now 😊.
Loved it.
We had a whippet dealer opened in 1925 depression killed it😊😊
You had me at Willy's!! Came over here from JYD and I'm loving supporting another Iowa RUclipsr
Thanks for sharing. I just had a Willys Whippet identified in one of my old family photo albums. Seeing your unrestored version really helps to match up the photo to your actual vehicle. What are you plans for the vehicle?
Love the variety of cars I see in the background. Also came here from JYD when you showed that revving TR4. Was just insane. Subscribed.
I’m 28 and drive a 81 year old LaSalle to a local cars and coffee
I saw your channel, I subbed ;-) Nice video: I'd never guess you're only 28 by listening to your deep voice! Maybe time to upload a second one?
Great grandpaw had this car, but w/ a diy truck bed. Said he had to drive up hill backwards.
Thoroughly cool car. Gotta love the details on these ancient cars.
Hi Steve . Just found this on your site. Very , very original . The interior looks very good indeed . Is it original? Think you get a few more comments nowadays! And a few more subscribers!
A fascinating car, and an interesting choice for your first episode. Would enjoy knowing more of its history, and its story in your life. Rock on!
Nice car, Good video Steve
Beautiful
Junkyard and Moog with the FBH sent me over. Enjoyed that. My first car was a 3 cylinder 2 stroke 1960 Saab. Worked on and loved Morris Minors. Had a BMW bubble car for a while. No more, sadly! Look forward to viewing more great videos. Have you seen Jonathan W's channel?
Hi Steve I’m new to your channel. I like what you’re doing and will now start to binge watch your videos. As someone who lives in the UK I love the fact that you work on British Cars. Shame you have the steering wheel on the wrong side but hey you’re American so we’ll have make allowances for you. 😜😜😜😂
I have one like this but a 27 , tell me what after market carb are you using, Im have trouble with my original Tillotson Thank you Manny
Talk about enduring construction! Where did this guy get this? Inheritance?
Steve, does this car have the sleeve valve engine instead of the poppet style valves ?
what's the whippet worth. blue book value.
Windex please
At least wash the windscreen.
