He wants to save "humanity" as he knew. Paradis = his humanity; Anyone else = Enemy. Pretty straight forward. That's why I can't say he is the villain now. Reiner was the villain too, and the character knows it. Gabi knows that. All the hatred towards Paradis and Marley hating blindly without knowing the events that took place inside the walls made all this happen too. Magath now regrets some of his decisions, but it took the rumbling to happen for everyone changing their minds.

You can't say Marley didn't know their memories were wiped: Reiner could have easily reported that, so could Ymir before being eaten, and so could Zeke. Depending on the point of view some can be considered good and bad. Of course it is undeniable that Eren having the rumbling started and wipe out everyone outside paradis is a villain thing to do. But it is something that at least anyone could relate given what he knows. Up until now, like I said earlier, Marley was hating on the island for no reason. The people born in Paradis, like eren, knew nothing of their past race, knew nothing about the world either. Even after learning the truth, Armin still hoped that an understanding could be reached. Eren knew better, because he had seen the future already. Still they attended the debate where Marley were still hating on Eldians and that's when Eren leaves the group and starts his rumbling plan definitly. Even though he had seen the future it seemed like he had some sort of hope that things could be different. That's how I view the story so far. I won't say anything else because spoilers and stuff. Plenty of non restorationists were suffering due to Marleyan oppression. Kruger's whole family were killed in a fire, even if they were restorationists to kill someone without trial like that is wholely unethical, especially since they literally hadn't done anything yet. As is turning people into titans.
This is probably my favorite transformation for Eren. Because we had seen him experiment, lose, struggle and grow. We had seen Eren master his powers over the course of years. So this quick and masterful transformation feels like the culmination of Eren's mastery over his Titan. It's also bittersweet, as this is the last time we see that iconic transformation. The last time we see the Attack Titan.

Let's keep in mind Eren was very talented in controlling his powers to the point where he was able to use the coordinates of the founder once

Moreover - Magath's tactic of that assult rode exactly on Eren not being efficient using up his stamina now that he has WHT and he's an absolute novice with it - and that's exactly how it played out. Finally, Eren barely became any more efficient with AT than he was on day one - he shifted ~2.5times over the assault on Trost, and claimed he's out of strength after 3 in Liberio.

Rewatching eren scenes after episode 80 make you notice small things like why his fingers are already cut, just like the basement scene in the Declaration of war. Eren was ready because he already knew this would happen... Fucking masterpiece!!
It is unlikely that Eren knew all that would happen like at the Willy Tybur speech but it is likely that he saw enough of Grishas memories of the future to be able to predict how some events would play out. Like if he knew what would happen in this scene, eren probably wouldn't have lost his legs to the Jaw.

It does make the scene feel more “epic”, but it’s not complete. Apple Seed wasn’t just epic, it was horrifyingly glorious and had a deep meaning behind it. It was the OST of someone we vehemently hated , the audience sharing Eren’s pain, and coming to conscious that Bertolt, despite all the pain he was causing, was aware of the damage he was doing to others lives snd the destruction to seemingly the last of humanity. It would never fit the scene depicted in season 4.
Well I mean it does and it doesn't. The lyrics speak of demons haunting us and the almighty has fallen. Which is a double meaning in this moment. Where Erin and eldians will fall or Marley will fall and potentially the world.

Since krueger is able to see the memories of future inheritors as well, he saw deep into the future memory of eren, and since eren's future is part of krueger's memory, he was able to look into the past to look into the future, if that makes sense?
In s04 part I and II he was so reckless, I mean he alone appeared in Liberio and started FIGHT with Lara Tybur and he didn't believed in his friends to come, but He already saw the FUTURE that they would come! remember when he says NOW OR NEVER MIKASA! And in Episode 16 he jumped into the battle without thinking much, cuz he knew already what the future holds for him.

I miss all the moment and wish I could bring back myself to the point where I just did not know what happens next. It was such a great storyline... everything was perfect the inventor deserves an Oscar.

can we talk about how fucking good his look is? the hoodie, the man bun... bro... and the amount of detail they added to the attack titan's face in this season, definitely improved the look
Everyone criticising what Eren has become in the last seasons and how he evolved. But you have to accept that although he may not have been the one we wanted him to be, he became such an extraordinary charachter. Props to Hajime Isayama to have made such a charachter and personality born, because yes it is almost like Eren became a complete new charachter. I personally love how he drastically changed of personality and how he completely focused on his goal. His hate became so powerful that I think personally it wasn't a matter of avenge anymore but really pure blind hate.

Well not every Titan transformation makes a big rumble. The show only makes it seem that way for the big Titans. But both peak and gilliard are really small. So they not make too much noise.

Eren knew what she was gonna say but asked her anyway because in the long run he planned on becoming an enemy to the world so when his friends joined up against him the world would see them as heroes in their own rights and ultimately hoped that would save them, even though he knew he would die.

I’ve seen a few comments mention that they miss the old days of AOT. Although this entire show itself is good you can’t help but remember where it came from. Season 1 had such a unique feel to it. The later seasons definitely were good except season 4 I feel like is biggest step, especially with revealing the outside world, it makes everything feel different from the walls and what we were used to. The anime was about the last of humanity inside walls they formed to protect themselves from the titan onslaught. Once you get through the anime you realize it’s bigger (plus Eren is the villain)and honestly it makes you miss the simplicity, none the less still a great anime/manga and will continue cherish it forever.
No he's not!! After Eren found out his future, Eren tried to change it or hoped he could change it. This is the reason he wanted his friends to kill him. Also, Ymir had her hands in everything too. Eren was the guy who could help her unleash her emotional rage and mikasa's love for Eren set Ymir free forever. Ymir needed them both.
I don't think that Eren was ever a villain, he just was an objectivist who wasn't soft or willingly ignorant to the world like the rest of the main characters, Levi, Hange, Mikasa, Armin, Jean Ect. The only one that was justly against Erens ambition were onion coupon and the rest of the volunteers, and even they weren't in it for Paradis. They just wanted Marley gone.

He wouldnt have seen this unless he'd shown it to Grisha during the Ymir section, which WAS after this scuffle however I don't think if Eren showed Grisha this part of his memory that things would have went the same way, he may never have enabled eren if he saw a memory where they're all looking at him calling him the enemy. I like to think that it's more along the lines of Eren knows that his actions are influencing the future towards his goal (i.e. where he dies after rumbling) than simply knowing absolutely everything.
Eren didn’t know the future at this point, he knew his father’s memories of the future via Eren in Paths showing him it. It’s weird, when he kissed Historia’s hand he essentially got a sneak peak through a second hand source. It was only when he fully became the founding Titian he gained full memory up til his death. Granted, that’s subjective cause he had so many memories that it became jumbled.
Appleseed is an INCREDIBLE choice for this scene! It showcases Eren's joining in doing terrible things with Reiner, Bertolt, but also extends a sort of sympathy we felt for them in going forward with what you feel you have to do

Look at his fight at the end of I believe season 1 just him vs Annie, he fucked her up and almost ate her. Eren transformed 3 times during Liberia and was still able to knock Reiner's jaw off and tbh Eren could of still fought after his 3x and have taken both armor and jaw Titan but he didn't. I mean Eren is far more experienced now so the fact if it wasn't for burnt toast landing on him he's mopped the ground with Reiner. This isn’t Eren’s last transformation. Later on in the battle he transforms into the doomsday Titan, and at fort salta he transforms into the colossal attack Titan. Technically, this also isn’t the attack Titan. It’s the attack Warhammer Titan hybrid. The last transformation as the standard attack Titan was in Liberio.

Since krueger is able to see the memories of future inheritors as well, he saw deep into the future memory of eren, and since eren's future is part of krueger's memory, he was able to look into the past to look into the future, if that makes sense?

Everyone criticising what Eren has become in the last seasons and how he evolved. But you have to accept that although he may not have been the one we wanted him to be, he became such an extraordinary charachter. Props to Hajime Isayama to have made such a charachter and personality born, because yes it is almost like Eren became a complete new charachter. I personally love how he drastically changed of personality and how he completely focused on his goal. His hate became so powerful that I think personally it wasn't a matter of avenge anymore but really pure blind hate.

Well not every Titan transformation makes a big rumble. The show only makes it seem that way for the big Titans. But both peak and gilliard are really small. So they not make too much noise.

I’ve seen a few comments mention that they miss the old days of AOT. Although this entire show itself is good you can’t help but remember where it came from. Season 1 had such a unique feel to it. The later seasons definitely were good except season 4 I feel like is biggest step, especially with revealing the outside world, it makes everything feel different from the walls and what we were used to. The anime was about the last of humanity inside walls they formed to protect themselves from the titan onslaught. Once you get through the anime you realize it’s bigger (plus Eren is the villain)and honestly it makes you miss the simplicity, none the less still a great anime/manga and will continue cherish it forever.
No he's not!! After Eren found out his future, Eren tried to change it or hoped he could change it. This is the reason he wanted his friends to kill him. Also, Ymir had her hands in everything too.
Eren was the guy who could help her unleash her emotional rage and mikasa's love for Eren set Ymir free forever. Ymir needed them both.
I don't think that Eren was ever a villain, he just was an objectivist who wasn't soft or willingly ignorant to the world like the rest of the main characters, Levi, Hange, Mikasa, Armin, Jean Ect. The only one that was justly against Erens ambition were onion coupon and the rest of the volunteers, and even they weren't in it for Paradis. They just wanted Marley gone.

He wouldnt have seen this unless he'd shown it to Grisha during the Ymir section, which WAS after this scuffle however I don't think if Eren showed Grisha this part of his memory that things would have went the same way, he may never have enabled eren if he saw a memory where they're all looking at him calling him the enemy.
I like to think that it's more along the lines of Eren knows that his actions are influencing the future towards his goal (i.e. where he dies after rumbling) than simply knowing absolutely everything.

Eren didn’t know the future at this point, he knew his father’s memories of the future via Eren in Paths showing him it. It’s weird, when he kissed Historia’s hand he essentially got a sneak peak through a second hand source. It was only when he fully became the founding Titian he gained full memory up til his death. Granted, that’s subjective cause he had so many memories that it became jumbled.
Appleseed is an INCREDIBLE choice for this scene! It showcases Eren's joining in doing terrible things with Reiner, Bertolt, but also extends a sort of sympathy we felt for them in going forward with what you feel you have to do

Eren transformed 3 times during Liberia and was still able to knock Reiner's jaw off and tbh Eren could of still fought after his 3x and have taken both armor and jaw Titan but he didn't. I mean Eren is far more experienced now so the fact if it wasn't for burnt toast landing on him he's mopped the ground with Reiner.
