Actualy the laugh is most likely laugh of irony how he could be so dumb to think he can change the future he saw. I can’t say if eren actually appreciates falco or he doesn’t care about him. The “I want you to have a long/happy life” line caught my eye because it’s the same line eren used with his friends, of course he knows that falco is going to survive the hell that eren himself will bring to the world.
Also, remember that people who become titans do not live long and have a shorter life span so I genuinely think he does not want him to become a Titan as well
Looking back on hobo Eren, if you look very closely at his eyes, they’re missing the little shine on his pupils unlike everyone else. I’m not sure whether this is because he’s lost all innocence or what, but it’s definitely something I thought was a cool little detail for his character design

I don’t like Hobo Eren as much as the next guy, but it was freakin’ effective. None of us recognized him and were even shocked with his appearance; that’s how you know the disguise worked when even we the viewers don’t even recognize him anymore, that even the Marleyans dismissed him as some soldier suffering from PTSD... Good work pulling off the look, Eren.
@@hunter424 wait so when he was actually decapited and then became the founding Titan and then calling the colossals from the wall to trample the world
Spoiler warning ⚠️ 3 main reasons why eren laughed is because when he asked Connie what were her last words he only asked that too see if the event that he saw in the future would happen so he asked Connie to confirm if the events are really happening and he can’t handle the mentality of sashas death knowing he couldn’t change it or stop it and just because his friend died that he had dearly to him
MoistCrit1kal did a great job becoming an animated character, cutting off his leg, poking out his eye, and learning to speak Japanese. Truly the peak of his career since starring in The Hunger Games
I think when Eren was fighting Reiner, he realized he was not doing it to stop him, but to save Porco. That is why he did not finish him off and said "See you later Reiner." He realizes Reiner is a victim of his upbringing and at this point only wants to redeem himself and save the people he cares about.
I like how Falco told Eren at the start “you don’t have to fight anymore” Eren must have been trying not to laugh while thinking “I’m gonna kill every one here soon”
Honestly, I think Eren as a hobo was actually his real emotions leading into everything in the final season. As the op of season 4 part 2 says, "i never wanted to hold a knife, I swear". He never wanted to do all of this killing, I mean, he's basically doing what he's dreaded for his whole life. But there is no choice for him, the whole world outside of the walls think of him as the enemy. There are no options for Eren, so he's just gonna commit to it and won't turn back. I really do think when he was a hobo he was being the most like himself, like being nice to Falco and talking to his grandad. This was his final "nice eren" until Eren destroys everything on his path to save his people (which he has no other option).
At that point, he didn't know that it was he himself that orchestrated his own mother's death. He thought that there must be some outside force that control things. Something greater than even Ymir. This is somewhat correct as there was indeed a powerful being controlling them: the Hallucigenia. It wasn't until when he became the true form of Founding Titan that he came to realize the truth...
Eren's interaction with Falco is important because Eren believed that everyone beyond the walls are enemies who are horrible people. But he also met nice people like Falco and people from other nations who were oppressed by Marley which gave him more second thoughts on starting the rumbling or not. But he didn't have a choice since he knew the future is inevitable.
I dont think Its a coincidence he just named himself like that. Its like eren kruger told eren jaeger to use his name as for fulfilling his revenge against the marleyans. Or maybe eren jaeger wanted to honor his dream
@@bol4death Kruger also seemed the more patient and calculating type, who also infiltrated and was an informant for the restorationists while he was forced to send so many of his fellow patriots as titans to paradi. The anger he must've felt but could never express. We don't know what other memories eren gained in the four years but given how he acts more like Kruger, it's not difficult to figure out. He became eren kruger in more than just using his surname.
I realized Eren told Falco to stay to protect Reiner. Cause if Falco had left, Reiner would have wanted to die in that mental breakdown. But he transformed to protect Falco when he himself hadn’t the will to live
I think he did it so Falco could hear the “I'm the same as you” line and Reiner asking Eren for forgiveness, then he would realize that Paradise eldians aren't that bad.
i wish they showed what kind of training eren had to do to not only form 3 titans in such a short span but control his regeneration rate and not transform immediately after a self inflicted injury
They’d already known how the titan shifting happened all the way back before reiner even attacked, you need to be injured, and you need to have a trigger. And the regeneration can be controlled consciously to not heal the person. No idea about the 3 titans thing though
Not only that we are shown pretty clearly that one of attack titans ability is near instant regenaration (see his first fight with a titan, his fight with reiner and when he activates the coordinate), yet they all seem to occur spontaneously, within moments of rage. However, he was able to heal his leg (without healing the scar on his hand), in like 2 seconds (regerating limbs takes hours for normal shifters).
It was subtly shown in the manga that the shifter can train themselves to heal their stamina and fatigue quickly to lessen the pain of transformation. This allows the expert shifter to transform several times and even "jump" through several bodies before becoming too exhausted and get their skin melted into their Titan.
8:22 This and the previous moment show how eren is on the enemy base and he has the leverage against their second strongest enemy, even like that reiner is just scared as hell of him because he knows what the scratch is and that he can turn any second, all he needs is to just push and then hundreds of innocents will die, all this if reiner dares move a muscle, the voice acting and the art style just make this anime awesome, so many feelings so many thoughts in a fraction of a second, not to mention the perfect body language
Hobo Eren is the embodiment of power from expression and tones. Every word he uttered is true, every action he take is towards his goal, yet his emotional expression and tone completely camouflage it.
Not sure how I missed that the "doctor" Jaeger in one of these scenes is actually Eren's grandfather... Damn, everytime I rewatch scenes of AoT, I notice new details, what a masterpiece
i love how when eren transforms his eyes finally have colour as if the only humanity he has left is within his titan form (monster) kinda like a reverse Dr Hyde
I think Eren's monologue in 2:08 gets overlooked, this is the whole message of Attack on Titan. War, in every of its faces, is evidebtly a horrible thing to go through, literal hell in Earth. The only reason we keep doing it or forced to do it is because we are deceived to believe what 'the truth' is, why the cause we are fighting is even worth fighting, through tools like propaganda and discourse. Evil is that makes us keep moving forward to achieve the good we were taught is worth fighting for, inspite of any tragedy it may follow. Isayama is giving a really powerful message here, the history of Japan, China and Corea-even modern conflict like the one one led to the Tutsi genocide in Rwanda 1994-are scaringly similar to the Shonen. And the thing to admire the most from him is that he made everyone believe that this was just another manga/anime about killing monsters.

I like how Falco told Eren at the start “you don’t have to fight anymore”
Eren must have been trying not to laugh while thinking “I’m gonna kill every one here soon”

Lol everything had to go according to plan so I made a Titan eat my mom so the aot world wouldn't just collapse

From what all Marley has done to eldians, and how they used them to decimate other nations, the rumbling is their punishment

i wish they showed what kind of training eren had to do to not only form 3 titans in such a short span but control his regeneration rate and not transform immediately after a self inflicted injury
However, he was able to heal his leg (without healing the scar on his hand), in like 2 seconds (regerating limbs takes hours for normal shifters).
pretty sure he learned these with hange in the final episodes of season 3.
It was subtly shown in the manga that the shifter can train themselves to heal their stamina and fatigue quickly to lessen the pain of transformation.
This allows the expert shifter to transform several times and even "jump" through several bodies before becoming too exhausted and get their skin melted into their Titan.
15:58 incredible voice acting!
8:22 This and the previous moment show how eren is on the enemy base and he has the leverage against their second strongest enemy, even like that reiner is just scared as hell of him because he knows what the scratch is and that he can turn any second, all he needs is to just push and then hundreds of innocents will die, all this if reiner dares move a muscle, the voice acting and the art style just make this anime awesome, so many feelings so many thoughts in a fraction of a second, not to mention the perfect body language

i love how when eren transforms his eyes finally have colour as if the only humanity he has left is within his titan form (monster) kinda like a reverse Dr Hyde
Aaaaaaand then he fucked up everything in the last moments.
