When you crossed the Dunvegan bridge did you go from Alberta to BC? Also I could see you were pulling a drag that had what appeared to be a rubber tired loader. Am I right? All I saw was what was reflected in your mirror. Hope you have a great day!
We were hauling rock trucks that video is still being edited. No as far as crossing the border the river does not form a border between the 2 provinces. It flows from Eastern British Columbia into Alberta where it goes East and then turns North. I hope you are doing well as for myself I have been driving nights hopefully only 1 or 2 more. It seems you never get enough sleep when you're on night shift.
See lots of cactus over by peace river where we go quadding. When we were younger, buddy got bucked off his dirt bike and came up just covered in them. He was squalling a bit over it. 🤣
My only close contact experience with cactus was when I was a kid playing baseball in the field beside the drilling rig in Brooks. Being a northern boy it never occurred to me that playing barefoot was a bad idea.
@@jeremycherny2041 that's the crazy part of the Peace Country it's a constant problem. On the east side of the Province where I grew up it's not like that. Something different with the soil I guess.
Beautiful part of the country. Drove that highway a few times. 😊 thanks for sharing bro. ❤️✌🏼
The climb out should have been sped up on the video, but the valley is pretty.
We went down to the peace in Wood Buffalo. it looks different there
I know at Fort Vermillion it's wide and no valley

Intresting drive i found it on the map ,is it clearned well in winter to drive ,nice senery around there
Yes it is an interesting place. It is probably about a 100 miles from my house maybe a little less.
You should of stopped for a coffee! Lol you weren't far from me when you went by dfi.
I figured I close, but you know how that goes!!
Seems like that's how things work hey?
@lovesloudcars yep exactly. I was probably busy too haha. Next time....
Dang hills couldn’t get much rougher. That south side is something special.
It is really quite amazing the difference between the hills on the north facing side and the ones on the South facing side.
yeah the highway is garbage
Part of that south side of your climb is closed off now due to sliding away. Its gross.
Really? Doesn't surprise me, the hills constantly slide here it seems.
@lovesloudcars yep. Go back and watch not long before the top there's a big crack in the pavement. Last week most of the lane in one spot was sunk.
