Now THAT is what I call a clean fight. I never really knew how to use See Through until I've watched more videos from this channel and actually understood how it works. Good job Ongbal. You make all this look easy, but the amount of time you must've spent practicing your timing has to be high. Can't wait to try this out for myself in my own playthroughs going forward.

@@zeroxinfinity5816In the middle of a light attack, if you time it right (near the end of each swing.) you have an opportunity to hit heavy attack if you have smash stance or thrust stance and if an enemy attacks right as you are doing this (or like just before, you can predict it) then you will become invincible and still do damage but it will use one focus point. Unless you are in thrust stance, which after you get a certain skill, whenever you do a see-through it costs no focus point but also doesn’t do damage immediately like smash stance. You can hit heavy attack again for another move and eventually you get an upgrade in thrust stance skill tree that if you land a see-through and use heavy attack right after you will become invulnerable during that part of the attack as well.
Essentially, if smash stance, click heavy attack while doing light attacks, costs 1 focus point and you can execute skyfall strike right after if need to.
If in thrust stance, costs no focus point but not as offensive and more defensive.
If you get good at see throughs and have the skill I mentioned on thrust stance, it will help a lot
I use both personally.

That’s how I got through the collective strength challenge until I got to yellow loong…. He kept blocking it but I still smoked him and finally got the Qing Mallet. One of the best staffs in the game. On my NG+3 cycle too. 342 maxed out.

Amazing fight! Do you swap between smash and trust stance just for style or is it because trust stance is needed to counter those specific boss moves? Does it mean that pillar stance isn't optimal for this boss fight? I've rarely seen pillar stance being used in any boss fight ... what about Wukong stance? Your dps is so high that the fight would be over before the stance wears off, especially with the new curio ... anyway great video, happy new year!

Man this skill is so sick… can you give some advice about how to do it? Like the timing, should be perfect, few secs before or after? Which attacks can be possible to do it and which ones not.
It’s when you are about to get hit with an attack… you’ll know that it’s correct when you see that flash. The more focus points you have built up the better… I done it to all bosses…doesn’t matter what move they’re trying to do to you. Except for yellow loong. He can counter it.

hello ongbal, i am also doing some no damage video , what app do you use for recording for best quality like that , i use obs and i use some different tutorial on youtube at the begining i practice video is very smooth but when i record for the final video they alway stuck , and the quality of video like sh**
