I'm sure that w7 sounds great, but we all know that van would make a beautiful stealth sq or "sql" car. Shit, if I had a shop near you, I'd hook your ride up as long as you promoted the shop. If you do plan on upgrading that amplifier check out these 2 channels below. They are the best at reviewing and testing/Dyno the amp to make sure you u are getting what you are paying for. For example they dyno the same amplifier you have and the power at 2ohms is only 271 watts RMS and on the website it claims it does 1125 RMS which it clearly doesn't. Beautiful set up.. I went from two 12's polk es comp subs to one 12 old school kicker CompR running on a 1000W RMS Menice Audio mono block from stock head unit.
@@Svhopowa no need for a cap. He just needs a good battery and a alternator if he decides to get front stage speakers and a amp to run them. But for what he is running right now, a good battery with the big 3 upgrade will be fine.

That blaupunkt amplifier is actually garbage, sorry to say it man but the rated power on that thing is a complete lie. There are videos of people hooking it up to a amp dyno and it does 184w at 4 ohm and 276 at 2 ohm. You are severly underpowering your subwoofer. Get yourself a nice pioneer amp or something that is actually a trusted brand when it comes to power rating. Ive had a 4 channel blaupunkt that is in the same product line and it put out maybe 30-40w per channel at 4 ohms when its rated at over 100w per channel.

@@pah150955able JL is too much money for what you get. Im running a 750/1 HD because I got one for really cheap that had to be rebuilt. Sent it to JL and they sent me a new one for $265. It’s running two JL 10w3 v3 subs. I don’t need anything more cause My system is set up for SQ. I don’t care for ground and body shaking bass.

He needs to do the Big 3 upgrade with 1/0 AWG and a good battery. I’m running a 3 way active front stage while using stinger 14AWG oxygen free wire. Each tweeter, 3.5 mid and 8” mid bass is getting its own.
Such an expensive subwoofer with a super cheap amp lol that JL would sound so much better with a higher quality amp. It's not just about watts it's about clean power. 👌🏾 that Blaupunkt is trash 🗑 my friend. I would go with a hifonics Brutus or a 1000w JL XD/HD series to match that hard to find W7ae -3

That Blaupunkt is pushing 250-300 watts rms its not a true 1500watts👎🏽you've only heard half of what that w7 can do. Its designed for 1000w rms +
In case you don't know... RMS means continuous power. Most amps advertise peak watts but you really need to know how many watts RMS. The amp is the most important part of the setup. It makes bad subs sound good and good subs sound great. Always invest in the amp first subs second. 👍🏾

Why would it be better to run the amp closer to the subwoofer. Long as he’s running 12-14AWG to the box he’s fine.
