I was just there last month for the python challenge stayed in Everglades city and even ate at pizza pasta and pythons but didn’t see dusty! Beautiful place! Can’t wait to go back.
I have a great selfie of my wife and I with our one yr old right below that bear sign lol. I havent been past the first camping spot you showed here. I need to get back out there. I really liked it.
Ochopee trail is really good for different levels of hiking. Never go by yourself and always carry a map (phone signal gets sketchy the farther north you go) it's a great alternative to the Florida trail segment south of I-75 (most of it is covered with at least 10" of water year round making it a miserable experience)
Hey Andrew, how are you? Girlfriend and I have watched this video a couple times but I’m wondering what entrance you went in ? I’d love to hike this trail and wondering if you could give me an idea of where this is I’d appreciate it. We are doing bear trail today! Thanks so much.
Hi thanks for watching! I started at the Collier County Rest Area entrance off I-75..I went northbound so I parked at the rest area parking on the right hand side if you are heading west toward Naples from Fort Lauderdale…I believe the address is 63175 Interstate 75 Ochopee, FL 34141 United States…hope this helps !

Hey Steve, that's awesome I appreciate that! I'll have to stop by sometime and I will be sure to let you know when I do. As for my favorite state parks, I've listed a few of them below: Lake Kissimmee State Park: Great campsites and hiking trails Blue Springs State Park: Great for swimming and tubing Wekiwa Springs State Park: Great hiking trails and kayaking Juniper Springs Recreation Area: Very nice campsites and great for kayaking

Cheers from Tampa, and thanks for having us along.
I love Tampa! It’s one of my favorite cities, especially because there are so many breweries 🍻. Thanks for watching 😀

Good question mam.
Anyone from south Florida tryna to go camping/bushcrafting
Can you have done it with a MTB ?
Yes! In fact a couple months later I ended up coming back to this trail with my MTB
Lol you meant north bound back to the parking lot
Can i drive my truck in there?
I don’t think there is a way, at least not from the entrance that I went to
You should have got a better pic of the snake. That way us natives could have identified it for you.
Haha I know! I wish I did. But after doing some research I believe it was a Florida Cottonmouth snake
don't throw stuff at the gators...
