Rammstein riffs will always have a special place in my heart. Most of the time they aren’t overly complicated or technically innovative but they still sounds amazing
Indeed. As great a vocalist Till is, the two main components of Rammstein's signature sound are the guitar riffs combined with Flake's synths. Till's voice comes third, but what a third-best component to have.
Like evry alternative/ Nu metal / groove hard rock industrial metal /rock hell even the others NDH bands so why i hear always their riff is simple not hard oh wait jealousy salty haters and of course they not sing in english well it rammstein and it sond rammstein even thoes bands sond like rammstein they dont play like rammstein the end

That's why I prefer Untitled. Zeit has that "I've heard this before" feeling when it comes to riffs, while the previous album still sounds fresh 3 yeas later. Zeit is still great, tho. 2nd best album for me.
@@the_grand_secgend2134 I love Zeit and Untitled too, but I think they fall just slightly short in comparison to Mutter. That first half, from Mein Herz Brennt to the title track, is just... **chefs kiss**
@@feckusmaximus3234 I, like many other folks, got into the band during the Mutter era - but I have to admit it's my least liked Rammstein album :( I never found it to be very interesting musically, save for a couple tunes.

Me the same. First time i heard it i instantly remember my first favorite song of them, the Spiel Mit Mir vibe
They're all great. Personally I think Adieu is the best on the album. It hits so catastrophically hard with the lyrics
I agree, that song is up there with Mutter and Ohne Dich for sure.

OK i think is one of the most underrated songs on the album. its such a good vibe and is a great blend of older rammstein and new rammstein. very swag song.
I don't understand why people say that this album is trash! Maybe it's not what you're used to from Rammstein, but they're also allowed to keep on experimenting, right? If you keep doing the same thing over and over again, you'll lose your originality. This album might (in my opinion) not be as good as the albums before this one, but damn does it have some good songs on there with a hot and heavy riff! It's very much very Rammstein. A total different experience and once again not what you would expect from them, like always, what makes it so special!
Really enjoyed the guitar in Meine Tränen, it’s a shame that it didn’t make it in the compilation
Doesn't seem like there's a whole lot going on in the song Zeit. But it still feels very powerful. The magic of Rammstein, I guess. :)
Also, I wasn't expecting this band to venture into Drop B. A bit surprising.

I love the meat & bones approach Rammstein has regarding Guitar riffs. I love technical death metal but I can also enjoy more “primitive” guitar playing. Great job & great tone!

I'd say the bass riff from Meine Tränen is one of the best. But then again, it's a bass riff

To everyone that makes fun of this video and the riffs:
Try writing a riff like that yourself. And I really mean LIKE THAT. A riff consisting of a view notes, that can be repeated, without it getting boring, without being bugged by where it stops and starts again. Thats really hard to pull of. What you are doing is, you look at thing on surface value wich is a terrible way of valueting anything. It takes a hell lot of skill to get an idea to the jist and make it work in a song. Its WAY harder than you can imagine to write such Riffs. Its really hard. I see this mindset in most guitarplayers that cant play a song without a 1 minute solo, I think ego and musical ignorance plays hand in hand here. God damn, think before writing.

Very well said. Rammstein have always been absolute masters at brutally effective simplicity, and efficiency 🤟🏻
I have no problem with riffs being simple, in fact I love stuff like Mein teil or Dalai Lama or Du Hast. But these do sound a bit underwhelming and very much in the realm of " just discovered drop tunings". My problem with them isn't that they're simple, but I find them boring.
Please tell me what you use for such a cool sound, very cool. Keep going it's amazing

Rammstein is a good place to start. They are fairly easy, and fun. "Pussy" is a guilty pleasure of mine, because of the lol factor. Best of both worlds. An easy source of dopamine.

the riffs are good but the guitars should sound more raw same with the drums. But the biggest difference are the vocals with a bigger emphasis on singing rather than talking and yelling like we had up until LIFAD

I think this album is not very riff rich, but an amazing album nonetheless, as per usual from Rammstein.
