- The Stay at Home Choir and Classic FM present the digital premiere of a mass singalong of Sir Karl Jenkins' The Armed Man: A Mass For Peace, which premiered 20 years ago at Classic FM Live at London's Royal Albert Hall to mark the new millennium.
The celebration features movements recorded during lockdown by more than 5,000 singers from across the world, interviews with Sir Karl Jenkins and an exclusive performance from special guests.
Tonight, we invite you to join in the singalong for two of the five movements - the Sanctus and the Agnus Dei - to form the biggest Armed Man singalong ever!
The event is the result of weeks of work by the Stay at Home Choir, which has recorded a global virtual choir singing movements from The Armed Man, accompanied by orchestral footage recorded live (before lockdown) by the World Orchestra for Peace.

A big Thankyou to the Stay At Home Choir and to everyone who has worked hard to make this happen. Also a special thanks to Sir Karl Jenkins. It has been an absolute honour and privilege to sing this beautiful Mass again. I am absolutely loving my time with the Stay At Home Choir and am so blessed by all the kind friendly people I have got to know worldwide. This 20th Anniversary will be so special.
My deepest thanks to Jamie, Tori, and the team at Stay At Home Choir for all your hard work, and for the opportunity to be a part of this. It was a great honor, and I feel blessed to have been able to participate in such a global prayer for peace!

It was such a blessing to be a part of this magnificent music with such a poignant and meaningful message of peace around the world. I pray we will one day sing together again soon! My heart cries as I see the beautiful choir on stage singing as one, without fear, and I so ache to be a part of that again soon . Absolutely wonderful. The cello solo and the personal videos at the end made me cry they were so emotionally touching. My little video message saying I missed travelling the world appears, I'm so happy. All the wonderful memories of places and people I've met over the years came flooding over me seeing that. An amazing experience. I got the CD as a present 18 or so years ago and was struck by the power and beauty of this choral epic. I was at a magnificent performance in Cork city hall a few years ago conducted by Sir Karl with the full force of the accompanying film, choir, soloists and orchestra. I never thought I would get a chance to sing it in such a memorable and enjoyable way. Thanks to Tori, Jamie, all at SAHC and the wonderful Sir Karl Jenkins for making a dream come true. The blessings of Peace and music to all.

A magnificent, rousing rendition of this truly beautiful work by Sir Karl Jenkins. How spiritually uplifting it is! Full marks to each and every person who was involved in this project. I was particularly moved by 'Benedictus', which brought a tear to my eye. I wonder if our choir master would now consider A Mass For Peace as a future project?! Wonderful performance; I can't praise it enough.
