Hauser, My brother (Tom) passed away last Thursday. My family and I are heartbroken over his passing, he was the youngest son but he was our leader. As days go by, I hear stories of his kindness, he helped so many people and rarely told anyone. My heart is breaking and I need your music to soothe my soul, please help me find my way. Yes this catholic hymn benedictus reminds me of our Lord on the cross suffering to expiate our sins of the world, triumphant at His ressurection. God expiates our evil sin to give us the chance of eternal abundant life in heaven. That makes me want to burst into song of praise &thanks to God.

I first heard this piece whilst driving home from a pest control call-out at three in the morning. I had to pull over on the motorway to stop and listen to the completion. I’ve never felt such mixed emotions before over one piece of music. I felt elated, sad, joyous and empty in such a short space of time. Since then, it has become my go to music whenever I feel that life is getting on top of me and it brings a serenity and joy to me that helps me forget the shitshow that this planet has become. If only we could get all the leaders of the world and the evil elite that run this catastrophe together in one room and make them listen to this. Maybe, one day, they will and they will listen to the suffering and despair that is happening right now and right here. . . . . We can only wish. . . . . . . but I feel that these people have no hearts. 😢

I love how Hauser plays this particular song. Such reverence and respect. It's as each note he plays is an unspoken prayer. A prayer from the heart. I have seen him smile and flirt and have fun with the audience, but this one...you feel every sacred note. it's as if we are all praying without words.

Was fortunate enough to meet and greet Mr Hauser last week after a mesmerising performance in London. He literally climbed up the rails to the level we were seated at after I called his name. We spoke for a while and he asked my children if they played any instruments. He was warm, generous with his time, had impeccable manners, charming, stylish and genuine. My son took a few photos of us and b4 I knew it I was heading back home, sat in a congested train I relived every magical moment that occurred at the magnificent concert and then I pinched myself just to make sure it wasn't a dream.......and I was lucky!

The cello is my favorite instrument and Hauser, the cellist playing here, I think is the best cellist in the world. If you look him up on RUclips, he plays so many beautiful songs, and a real variety of genres. He plays everything from rock songs with the cello, that I've never heard played on a cello before, as well as other popular songs and beautiful classical music. He plays with such passion. He played with another cellist, Luka Sulic, for I think 10 years and they were called 2Cellos. They toured with Elton John for 5 years because Elton was so impressed with them. They've been playing individually for the past couple years but talking about getting back together again. Hauser really is an amazing cellist. I hope you can find some of his other songs to listen to. He has a huge following, millions of people and he has a great fan group called HausErholics. You might want to check it out. I don't think you'll be sorry. Just some thoughts. 🎼🎶🎵🎻

I agree! I found Hauser last year and this beautiful masterpiece as a result. I can hardly explain what effect it has on me. I have a feeling of rising high up into the atmosphere and swaying around with the angels among the clouds.. I am now 85 years of age and want definitely Benedictus to be played at my funeral.

I followed him from the beginning. I do think it is a bit much when Lola plays the piano practically naked and he accompanies! Where did he suddenly come from and what a huge repertoire. My childhood is coming back. I remember how I was laughing and walking bare-footed on wet grass. This music music relieves my stress and I keep calm when I listen to it.
First time I heard this on a CD 15 years ago, I was stunned with it's beauty. And at the climax, tears were streaming down my face as I drove 395 in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range.
Next time you travel on 395, stop at Fossil Falls, not far from that big cinder cone. It is very close to the highway, no trouble to get to. Read about it on the internet if you haven't been there. You can stand at the edge and imagine all the water that came from the ice and snow in the Sierras and poured over the basalt steps.

There are many variations of Benedictus including the 2 cellos rendition in Zagreb, but this is the most beautiful with the addition of the choir and those young voices makes this rise to a great height. None better.

Probably the best rendition I heard of Benedictus. Hauser is good but so are all the other musicians and the choir. Respect for the director! Very moving.

Hauser, My brother (Tom) passed away last Thursday. My family and I are heartbroken over his passing, he was the youngest son but he was our leader. As days go by, I hear stories of his kindness, he helped so many people and rarely told anyone. My heart is breaking and I need your music to soothe my soul, please help me find my way. I first heard this piece whilst driving home from a pest control call-out at three in the morning. I had to pull over on the motorway to stop and listen to the completion. I’ve never felt such mixed emotions before over one piece of music. I felt elated, sad, joyous and empty in such a short space of time. Since then, it has become my go to music whenever I feel that life is getting on top of me and it brings a serenity and joy to me that helps me forget the shitshow that this planet has become. If only we could get all the leaders of the world and the evil elite that run this catastrophe together in one room and make them listen to this. Maybe, one day, they will and they will listen to the suffering and despair that is happening right now and right here. . . . . We can only wish. . . . . . . but I feel that these people have no hearts. 😢

I love how Hauser plays this particular song. Such reverence and respect. It's as each note he plays is an unspoken prayer. A prayer from the heart. I have seen him smile and flirt and have fun with the audience, but this one...you feel every sacred note. it's as if we are all praying without words.

Was fortunate enough to meet and greet Mr Hauser last week after a mesmerising performance in London. He literally climbed up the rails to the level we were seated at after I called his name. We spoke for a while and he asked my children if they played any instruments. He was warm, generous with his time, had impeccable manners, charming, stylish and genuine. My son took a few photos of us and b4 I knew it I was heading back home, sat in a congested train I relived every magical moment that occurred at the magnificent concert and then I pinched myself just to make sure it wasn't a dream.......and I was lucky!

The cello is my favorite instrument and Hauser, the cellist playing here, I think is the best cellist in the world. If you look him up on RUclips, he plays so many beautiful songs, and a real variety of genres. He plays everything from rock songs with the cello, that I've never heard played on a cello before, as well as other popular songs and beautiful classical music. He plays with such passion. He played with another cellist, Luka Sulic, for I think 10 years and they were called 2Cellos. They toured with Elton John for 5 years because Elton was so impressed with them. They've been playing individually for the past couple years but talking about getting back together again. Hauser really is an amazing cellist. I hope you can find some of his other songs to listen to. He has a huge following, millions of people and he has a great fan group called HausErholics. You might want to check it out. I don't think you'll be sorry. Just some thoughts. 🎼🎶🎵🎻

This is my favorite of all Hauser pieces and I follow him. The sacred Jenkins music and the sensitive conductor then the chorus bursts out. It is magnificent. Hauser you are a poetic genius with a huge repertoire. Thank you from New York.

Terry Ebert-Mendozza yes the Albinoni Adagio is magnificent. He is actually playing music for piano I.e. the second Rach concerto. I await the Malher adagetto !! He is a genius. I followed him from the beginning. I do think it is a bit much when Lola plays the piano practically naked and he accompanies! Where did he suddenly come from and what a huge repertoire. Genius and fun personality!!

I am listening to this music and imaging all the beautifull streets and squares in Italy completely empty and quiet, nobody kissing or hugging each other as we usually do. People in hospitals are living such a hard time. God bless all our doctors and med staff.

First time I heard this on a CD 15 years ago, I was stunned with it's beauty. And at the climax, tears were streaming down my face as I drove 395 in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range.

Next time you travel on 395, stop at Fossil Falls, not far from that big cinder cone. It is very close to the highway, no trouble to get to. Read about it on the internet if you haven't been there. You can stand at the edge and imagine all the water that came from the ice and snow in the Sierras and poured over the basalt steps.

There are many variations of Benedictus including the 2 cellos rendition in Zagreb, but this is the most beautiful with the addition of the choir and those young voices makes this rise to a great height. None better.

The most beautiful Hauser has played. The orchestra and choir are magical. The angel are listening.
Probably the best rendition I heard of Benedictus. Hauser is good but so are all the other musicians and the choir. Respect for the director! Very moving.
