It’s all about individual palates which I totally agree with. I’m not a JD drinker I won’t refuse it if offered but I never order it when out. Having said that I am very interested in the single barrel barrel strength both of them the regular whiskey and the rye. Have heard how good these are so it’s something I need to try. And honestly for the 65-70 dollar price around me I think it deserves a try. Nice review. Enjoy!!
Top notch content. Very nice list. Dave, I'm one of The Several that agree with your palate on the Twice-Barrelled. But, there's also nothing wrong with Z's palate. Thanks for the information fellas!!!
Great show! I am a JD fan and one that I have liked since my high school days is the Jack Daniels Green Label (not apple). It's only sold a few states and I always pick some up if traveling through or to Tennessee. It's basically a younger Old N0. 7 but I love the rawness with the right amount of sweetness. Cheers!
Great lineup guys. Agreed with most all of it except I liked the JD10 B1 more than you did but still agree B2 is better. I would go top for me coy hill, jd12, jd10, BP Rye and BP Bourbon tied depending on single barrel and depending on if it’s a store pick or not they could beat the JD10 batch 2
Hey , Guys love your shows. We are coming down to NuLu by OF distillery in 2 weeks. Can you recommend some good restaurants and breakfast brunch places??? Please help
Louisville is quietly known for their restaurants. Depends on what your go to food is. There is a little hole in the wall called cracker barrel.......hahaha. Biscuit Belly, Con Huevos, Gralehaus, Metro Diner. Those are a few breakfast places.
that is def the order. I just pulled the twice barreled out of the lineup because Zach doesnt really like it and it is my dig at him whenever i get the chance. T
Just toured Jack Daniels this past weekend for first time since I was 14 (12 years ago). Fitting timing for this vid. Tour included a tasting of Old No. 7, Sinatra, SiB Select, SiB BP, and SiB Rye. My order was 1. SiB BP 2. Sinatra 3. SiB Rye 4. SiB Select 5. Old No. 7
You left out the Sinatra. Not that I care. They are sitting on store shelves around here. Not that they are bad. $130 for a non age stated 90 proof just doesn't seem like a good value.

I saw the Special Release Single Barrel Heritage pop up around me, at MSRP, I assume that’s one I need to pick up, right?
JD Single Barrel Barrel Proof is my favorite… One of the best..

Where would you guys rank the regular single barrel rye? I personally liked it better than the whiskey when I blinded them.
Where do you see labels of what is being released?
I generally don’t like Single Malts, but my neighbor let me try this one and I really liked it!

Oh The Cracker Barrel. Oh so good and you can be held hostage to shop and wait till they feed you. 😂
Never had any of the rare ones. But my faves are both barrel proof (rye and bourbon) and Bonded.
My personal favorites are The Single Barrel Select and Single Barrel Select Rye, the Barrel Proofs are hotter than I prefer.
Sinatra Select tops my list, go figure. Looking forward to trying the Coy Hill and 10 & 12. I started with JD in 1977......
The first special releases were the Heritage Barrels. Also, where was the normal single barrel rye?
You may have said this in a prior video, so you prefer the coy hill small batch or the single barrel?
Small batch
I would personally put JDBP and JDBPR above the twice barreled special release.
that is def the order. I just pulled the twice barreled out of the lineup because Zach doesnt really like it and it is my dig at him whenever i get the chance. T
Triple mash, then bonded rye, then regular bonded. Triple mash is so damn good!
Got them RIGHT!
Where would you rank the Sinatra Select in this grouping?
have you reviewed the Sinatra line.
no we haven't
JD 12 is straight 🔥 💯
Triple Mash Bay-Beee!😉😂🙏

Not sure if there are stipulations with the county being dry, but I was disappointed the bottle shop had no distillery exclusives.
Why was Sinatra not up there?????
Coy hill and the 2020 sp rye are the best
Old #7 as daily, single barrel weekend and 12 year old special
What about Sinatra?
i have honestly never tried sinatra. So i have no reference for it. (David)
@@bourbonkingdom that's a fair reason.
Still 70$ flat for me, the sbbp that is. Havent come across the rye version but will Def pick it up if it's the same price.
Rankings don’t mean much if it’s not blind

Jack goes with coke. Jim goes with Pepsi
Jack daniels 12 year absolutely fantastic still hunting coy hill david and zach can you please score me 1 i will pay you a fair price boys !!!
No sinatra
Twice barrel is TRASH!
It's not bourbon.
Would be curious to see this as a blind, rather than this format.
Special release rye>single malt>coy hill.
