    Not sure if someone will see this, but since it is a zip tie, I would think you would be able to use it the regular way. Clip close to the lock in place. Wrap with material and when you add a bead, have the bead lay on top or by the locked part. I will try it that way. I wasn't to keen on using glue or the type, if I have to open windows or keep the kids and dog away. I do love the idea and thank you for sharing!!!

    These bracelets are gorgeous. I must make some to go with the patchwork belt video from you. Thank you. They will look girgeous with a long flowing summer skirt - when summer comes.

    Thank you for this easy, addictive craft. Because I have a large supply of machine embroidery thread (rayon), I substituted the thread for the wire and it worked well.

      I love the rayon thread idea! I had these at my summer shop and people really like them. So much fun to make too! Thanks for watching and sharing, Julia

    Beautiful 😍😍. But why do you cut and then glue? There's no need. It can be fixed with the same snippets.

    I didn’t understand why you cut the closure of the zip tie instead of using it verses gluing the bracelet. Zip ties lock and are more secure than glue.

    Dollar tree has all of these materials. Zip ties, fabric glue, wire, clothes pens, beads and they even have some really pretty scarves you could use. I figure for $1 each ya can't really go wrong. And yes my kids tell me I always have to find the best price on whatever I'm buying..... Oh forgot to tell you how cute I think these are.

    I love these! Made several but wondering what you do about the little fabric "whiskers" you get from the raw edges of the fabric strips? Or have I done something wrong? Thanks!

    • @stitchesbyjulia
      @stitchesbyjulia  5 лет назад

      Hi Terri, I like the raw edges and the fraying but I know it is not for everyone. You could use a pinking shears to cut the stripes or use Fray Check on the edges. Thanks for watching. Julia

      I have learned to accept them. Ha. I also discovered I liked the look and the little extra bulk that knit fabrics give them! I've watched so many of your videos and love, LOVE your style!
