Aw, thanks so much. Here's the link: ruclips.net/video/1xqlSWugRsA/видео.html I'll have my version of the journal coming out soon 😉 Thanks for watching 💗🤗
Your tin can filled with flowers sure brings back memories as a child. Used to forage in the fields on the farm, come across an old bent lonely tin can, plonk it on the flattest stone I could find, being the table, 😂 then picking any weeds and wild flowers to put inside. Natures vase.
Hi Donna! I enjoyed your projects using fabric! The green bottles were my favorite as I've been crafting with bottles lately. I also admire your talents with recycled materials, so important to reuse, spend less, and keeps us in our homes$$$!
Now you re talking, I love fabrics scraps. Small thin bits, love making the rag roses, put aside and use all the time as embellishments. Otherwise I use them in a ton of methods, all thanks to so many crafts that you have given me inspiration from. You know that...One thing leads to another thing and another. Some fabrics are so pretty, but my most loved ones are the fine rose prints, so cottage. 💕🌹🌷.
Aw, thank you so much Sandy 💗 I appreciate it!! I love ragvrises, si pretty 😍 Thanks so much for watching. Have a wonderful week. PS. Sorry for the delayed response, it's been quite hectic lately, but I'm getting back to work here on RUclips 😉
Hi Donna Happy Valentine's day❤! I absolutely love the fabric scrap journal! I've been wanting to upcycle Amazon packaging too, and I think you just motivated me to do so with your lovely fabric journal cover.
Yes please a tutorial on onion and avocado dyed paper. Your crafts are above and beyond as usual. I always look forward to you on Saturdays. You never disappoint.
Awesome projects, Donna. Yes, a tutorial on dying paper would be great! I've never attempted a junk journal, and they're so popular now. Great idea! Thank you!
I love your creativity and that you use things around the house incorporating nature into your projects. I'd love to see a tutorial on how you dye your paper. Thanks!
Hi Donna! I like/love everything! The bottle is so cute. I have a bottle like that and I just have a jute twine on it in a bow. But I want to do this to it now! Love the bracelet and the gift bag. And of course I dig the tin can craft. I do a lot with those. And the journal is fantastic! Love it. I enjoyed the video Donna. You’re always so creative and unique. ❤️💜💚
Hi Donna .I love to art journal and have made a few but none out of fabric scraps. Am so excited to try this😊 Happy Mother's day to you and everyone across the Atlantic from Ireland. Thanks for sharing such lovely projects
Hi, Donna. Thanks for all those lovely ideas. ⚘I use scrap fabric for making " crazy bows", tassels, as background for pictures or for covering any shape to make door or garden decor. I made some stuffed pumpkins and a couple of stuffed bunnies for autumn decor here in South America.🌹🌿
I just love your style, and everything you make ❤ you are so creative, and make the most beautiful things…I would love to see how you transformed your journal, and also more of the junk journals…thank you for sharing your talent with us!
It seems like you have been looking in my recycled stash. Just emptied an avocado oil bottle that looks just like your bottle. Told my husband I would think of something to do with it. Thanks for the idea! I love it! We have been packing for a move, so I have 3 empty tape rolls so far. Like you, I didn't want that wide of a bracelet, so appreciate you showing me how easy it will be to cut. And lastly, your idea of adding a few patches of lace to your journal cover was truly inspired. Great ideas. Thank you for sharing!
All of these projects turned out beautifully, Donna, but the journal is my favorite! It's amazing that you turned some drab packaging materials into this beautiful book....love it!
Hi Donna! I love your creative tutorials. They are relaxing to watch and creatively inspiring. I love crafting with nature as well and I'm always looking for ideas. I would love to see a tutorial on making paper/nature dyed paper. Also I love art and junk journaling and journals for different types and subjects so a tutorial on journal book construction would be fun too. Any tutorials that you post are wonderful. I love your channel. Thank you for sharing and take care.
Aw, thanks so much for the feedback, Ruby. I really appreciate it, and it's very helpful!! Awesome, I really want to make paper, I even want to dive deeper into using nature for dyes and pigments. I love to experiment!! Thanks so much for watching. Have a wonderful weekend 😀 💖💐
I do not make the journals…but I am interested in how you made your dyed paper. Sometimes just adding that little bit to an item really ‘makes’ it! Love the can covered with the strips of fabric!! I might do that for a pencil holder! Thank you for your ideas! I love scraps and I use mine for making my angels…I also make a lot of fabric yoyos! So fun!
I have wanted to try making yoyos, sounds fun!! I have a video planned for paper dying and another video on how you can use the papers, not just for journals but other projects too 🤗 Thanks for watching. Take care 💖
Hi Donna, I love watching your videos and have gathered so many great ideas! I would love to see the onion and avocado papers and mixed media. I love making journals and papers. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Donna, I’ve never done junk journaling, would love to see a tutorial on the natural dyed paper. Also if you do that video, could you please show how and for what you use these journals. That way if I want to give them as gifts, I know who of my family or friends would use them, or could give them ideas with the journal. Beautiful projects btw, I really enjoyed this video ❤
Hey there. Sorry for the delayed response!! It's been a hectic week. But I am getting back to work here on RUclips 😄 I have a video planned on how to dye the papers, and later on I will share how to make a Nature journal and how to use it 😉 It's going to be a fun couple of months where I am sharing different Nature Crafts and how to use what we make 🤗 Thanks so much for watching and for your feedback, I appreciate it. Take care 💖
I recently started making wreaths out of fabric scraps. I tie the scraps to a metal wreath form, with the scraps being in the same color scheme or theme. I get lots of complements on the few that I've done.
Ooo, so pretty. I've seen them before, but never made one. They really are a great way to use scraps. Thanks so much for watching and sharing your idea with us. Take care 🤗 💖
I like all your projects Donna. I have used fabric for a journal before, and obviously swatches from the quilt featured on each page of my quilting journal. I am going to attempt to mod podge nautical fabric onto one of those wooden anchors.
Love all the projects you have shared!❤. Please show us how to dye paper. 😊 I love making journals. Just finished one for my sisters birthday. My next journal will be a style I haven’t tried yet…Pop Art! I am so excited to use color. My usual style is vintage with more muted color so this will be so fun to use bright colors.
Sounds like a fun project!! I am happy to know you like to make journals, it's been something I have been wanting to share for a while. I have a video planned for paper dying that's coming out soon. Thanks for watching and for your feedback. Take care 💕😉
Yes I,d to learn to make journals. Have collected so much to do so, but not sure how to get started. Would love to add moss twigs and bark, also. Love all your ideas. made the fairy light crystals in moss, and everyone wants one 😁😊
I have lots collected to Pat. I just haven't found the time to make any, that's why I asked all of you if you'd be interested. I appreciate your feedback. Yay, glad you were inspired to try the crystal log, that's awesome!! Stay tuned for paper dying and how to use the papers we dye. I will be experimenting with different ideas this summer, I am excited. Thanks for watching. Take care 💖😉
Hello! I do make altered journal from composition books, and lots of bits and bobs. I have also done tea and coffee dying, but would love to see other dye sources. Thanks for all the beautiful nature crafts you have shared through your channel.
My decal had dark brown script print on it. Against the white it didn’t look good so I used a wet teabag to dye the white around the print and the rest of the jar. I love it.
I love all of these projects. The green bottle i love with the burlap. I have a very similar green bottle from extra virgin olive oil. I think the better quality things like that, are always in such nice bottles. I want to recreate that one especially but i dont have ink or stamps yet. I was thinking maybe i can use some rub on transfers on a strip of muslin. I have those really nice ones from DT on the "parchment paper" guess ill have to try it. I do also like the can wrapped in scrap fabric. Ive got plenty of that being ive been sewing since around the early 1970's. Ive made patchwork pillows b 4 and your journal looks similar. Thats a great project i want to try. I don't do junk journal just daily and spiritual writing. I started a daily journal on being appreciative for one thing each day. I feel like i can never have enough things to write in. I love it and use everything 4 it like junk mail envelopes. Thanks for this great video.
I love how you use your journal, that's a great idea!!! Yes, you are right, the better glass is used for oils and such. I was originally going to use the rub-on transfers, but it didn't work. Now looking back, I should have applied some glue (let it dry) to firm up the fabric and give the transfers something to grip onto . Let me if you try it out, and how you did it to get it to work, I would love to know. Thanks so much for watching. Have a wonderful week 🤗💖
Great video .....yes please can you show us how to make the onion and avocado dyed paper! All projects were wonderful. Love from Debbie and Dexter-Dog my sweet tiny rescued Chihuahua companion living a quiet crafty life in southern. 🙋🐾👍✝️
Oh my goodness these are all so amazing 😍 I want to do a bottle like that or a Mason jar! I'm also a journal maker and have used Amazon packaging but haven't done the quilt style yet but used one pc of fabric on front and usually scrapbook paper on inside! Did you end up doing a paper dyeing tutorial?
Oh that's awesome!! The Amazon packing is perfect for journals. Yes, here's the video link for the dyed papers: ruclips.net/video/1xqlSWugRsA/видео.html Thanks so much for watching. Happy crafting 💖
