Always like seeing how other people do balance When i tried to my take on this for Ashes of Outland i mostly wanted to do effect changes since since thas a lot of what i like about designing Your focus on number changes is still really interesting to see since it shows a really good grasp of how the game plays out with each turn and just a lot of experience in general Keep up the good content!
17:35 Braan, toy boat, hanar, sonya, a couple more endless value cards. Honestly, even though this isn't what rogue does currently, I can't imagine dealing with this being very fun overall
I think for the Lurker Below, it should stay the same Mana/Stats and just deal more damage. He's a BIG BOY so should do BIG BOY things. Maybe like 6 or 8 damage (8 if you want it to kill giants)?
Apexis Blast exists solely to make me hate Chaos Creation even more than I already do. This isn’t a comment on your rebalancing, the video just reminded me of my outrage.
I think Darkglare could be like, a 1 mana minion with a hard once per turn on the effect (abd obviously change the stats a little bit). Still dunno where it would be played, but at least it wouldn't be as abusable while still having a small niche as a "technically 0 mana minion" with the 0 mana get dead minions card.
1. Ah, the expansion that made me quit Hearthstone until the release of Death Knight. Demon Hunter was just NOT fun to play against. 2. All jokes aside, I love the Prime cards. They're powerfull Legendaries that need time to get their payoff. 3. I always thought it was weird that the Warglaives of Azzinoth weren't a Legendary Weapon lol
seeing as how dormant is a pretty cool concept for a dh mechanic how about how about having imprisoned antaen deal 5 damage split among random enemies at the end of each of your turns turn while dormant instead of the full 10 when it wakes up to mirror magtheridon, unreleased?
Revert my boy Hanar pls. He may be annoying, but Wild doesn't really allow "Value Rogue" to work. Requiring prep/informant or 4 mana to get one secret is absurd too. Not only that, but it has no synergy with half the secret cards available to Rogue (Private Eye, Mad Scientist, Sparkjoy Cheat, Perjury). Either put it back to 1/5 or change to "when a secret is cast, discover a secret from a different class".
@@FlareHearthstone yeah it was 5 at the beginning and tbh it was incredibly good card at 5 mana back then. 5 mana mast of cthun with big body? Hell yeah
"5/4/5 deal 3 damage would be fair" we had a 4/4/4 in titans miniset with deal 3 damage and a relatively easy condition. It also went face. It should be fine in wild if it had a deck lol
@@DavidPachón8591 they'll never nerf DH because of its popularity. Monk also had groundbreaking stuff like Roll and could very easily break the game but nobody plays Monk.
It's only "bad" because the meta has somewhat been able to keep it down. Just because rogue is "even more broken" and beats Warlock that doesn't make Warlock not an issue. It's one card printing off being S tier and ruining the game again, as long as dark glare exists. Also ignoring "tier", darkglare is objectively under costed for what it does in wild. That level of mana cheat is not right for a 3 drop.
"Outcast: your charge minions have +1 attack" would be neat.
Kanrethad summoning a load of imps that died and dealing 30 to face is funny if not intended.
Kanrethad Prime main downside is that he is demon! He gets summoned from hand by the skull or void caller and really pollutes demon resurrect pool.
this tbh, just makes it that much worse in the bad deck he already makes worse but also kind of fits into?

Hahaha, I saw what you did here with kanrethad prime. It is a redemption for a dr boom in rise of shadows. I really like it!
It's weird to reduce demon hunter card costs because it makes Ci'cigi look worse than he already is lol

This expansion during its run really felt like half baked identities, the expansion.

I've been playing since before demon hunter was released and yet haven't played a single game of DH.
Based.
fuck that class, still insta dusting every dh card i get

Wasnt Imprisoned Antaen reverted from 6 to 5 mana like a year ago?
The card came out 4 years ago man I thought it cost 4 xd

What a nerd. I love the content
I don't think it's a good idea to buff Imprisoned Observer that way. Maybe make him cost 2 instead. 3 damage AoE is way too much
Imprisoned Antaen was reverted. It was 5 originally, nerfed to 6, then reverted to 5. Putting it to 4 is a buff, not a revert.
oh I thought it was 4 originally lmao it was like 4 years ago

Delete DH, there, i fixed the expansion, no need to watch the video, your welcome.
Many years later, I still dislike DH - its such a weird class
