I think Kayle could be similar to astalor because she has different evolutions throughout the game. If you end up doing a part two, I'd like to see what you would do with volibear and kayle
yeah kayle could super be an astalor style card, unlike kassadin where it doesn't feel thematic.
Just saying, I fully support the custom content on this channel! I am a complete sucker for custom card content anywhere I can find it since it's been a massive part of my casual hobby space
As for the edits for any of the cards (which Im currently editing in as we speak), they are as follows:
> Mordekaiser could make due with a health buff - I feel like getting a super juiced up Ironbark Protector just might not do, given the current state of things, although he does basically have two sets of HP so idk. I'm not like, saying he should get a HUGE health buff, maybe only one or two extra points.
> Kassadin's definitely fine, short of just making the text a bit more concise - Really like what's going on here.
> Nidalee's a little weird - I don't really know enough about druid to make a call, but I feel like there's a few other things you could do here, plus I personally advocate for supporting less common archetypes, but again can't make much of a call.
> For hunter, HUGE missed opportunity for Teemo to make an appearance here - As much as I hate the bastard in-game, he definitely could've made a massive impact for Hunter as we know it. But, Sivir here is also very nice, big boon for Hunter to have.

I think nidalee could be chose 1 transform into human or couga, at the start of your turn chose again. IDK what the two forms should actually be but I think that could be an interesting idea

I made some custom league cards awhile back and it’s really cool seeing so one else’s take on it!
Udyrs Bear Stance could also be „Your hero’s attacks freeze and ignore taunt for this turn“ with the last part playing into the cc immune of the league counterpart.
I like your Ezreal idea and it reminds me of the LoR effects. I think it would be cool if Ezreal's ult would work kinda like Domino Effect, where you choose where the spell starts and then it goes in a line down the board descending in damage to represent how it works in league.
For Shaco I think there is some potential to do something similar to Jandice Barov to represent him and his clone and if the enemy interacts with the wrong one it does something bad, idk. I do like your concept tho, just something I thought would be cool.
Your Udyr and Ornn concepts are super fun, I love them!

If this minion takes lethal damage, it goes dormant until your next turn instead. (Once per game!)
For ezreal, you could make it a Battlecry with "if your deck only has spells with mana value 5 or more" giving you it easier, but also a deck restriction
I love stuff like this just making cool designs for the sake of it. I also love how the community just calls any card that only exists for meme combos a “Mark card” lmao. My favorite card is definitely Wheel of Death, it feels like one of the more balanced alternate win conditions we’ve had, and it changes the game so much when you slam it down
In my very short time playing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (which I thought was Leauge on mobile at the time) I remember Cyclops there quite fondly. I think he would be a quite fun legendary similar to one of my favorite classic Legendaries, Malygos. I’m thinking given his abilities, Mage Legendary, 6 Mana 4/4 Spell Damage +2 Whenever you destroy a minion with a spell, get a Starlit Sphere. which are 4 Mana, Deal 4 Damage. Costs (1) less for each one you play this turn

Kassation gave me the idea of a mini Titan like a 4 Mana 4/4 with the abilities „deal 3 dmg to a minion and silence it for one turn“ (q) „choose an enemy minion for Kassadin to attack, if this survives, you can use another ability“ (w, playing into the mana refund) and „if 4 or more minions attacked after you last turn, deal 4 damage to all enemy minions“ (e)
I loved thresh, and I also thought how cool would be if we have this as event exclusive skins if we can't get the cards by themselves
I'm honestly still trying to design my own crossover Hearthstone clone, but more crossover content in real Hearthstone would be fun
Udyr is a great fit for shaman. I would even argue that dealing 2 damage as phoemix isnt that bad since Brukan does the same and on summon.
For paladin I would have chosen Taric, his ult is divine shield and his Q and passive are effectively a healing aura.
Shaco isnt a bad fit for rogue, I personally would have opted more into his clone than his boxes. The clone would be a great enabler for deathrattle synergies.
Mordekaiser feels a bit weird because he would be the only titan I can think of that does only board control and nothing else (besides face damage). Most other titans either give you card advantage of some form or summon units, Mordekaiser does neither. Also Yorick would have been a great fit for DK with corpse synergies.
For mage I argue that Ryze would be the better fit, he is the arcane master in all of LoL lore. You could give him a battlecry, spellburst and maybe a deathrattle that allows you to discover one of his spells that have synergy with each other (e.x. spell flux gives your next spell spell damage and his other spells gain new effects you have spell damage (for example rune prison freezes without spell damage but makes a minion dormant with spell damage)). To me this sounds more interesting than having a free ping every turn but I have no ideas what the classes needs are in wild.
Redarding other champs I would like to see:
I think Aurelion Sol's stacking can discover a fascinating mechanic as a titan that gains power through infuse.
-Olaf as an enrage warrior or priest card
-Qiyana as support for the multi spell school archetype in shaman or mage
-I can see design space where Rumble is an insanely strong minion which overloads when he attacks, maybe that could be cool as an actual "good tempo but bad for consecutive turns" overload idea.
-Any darkin that temporarily transforms you into them (like a hero card) as long as you hold the weapon. Either their weapon has a strong effect when you swing with it or their hero power reduces your durability. Or both.
Yeah I was toying with the Darkin but those 100% have to be hero cards I think, since they'd equip a weapon and have their additional effects which would probably be too complicated for a regular card
I was expecting Aatrox to be the demon hunter card due to his frequent attacks and lifesteal, but i never wouldve thought about kass! very interesting! my favorite card will always be obsidian statue
I'm not sure how to do the darkin, because technically they're not demons, but they're not exactly not. League demons are like eve, tk, fiddle, nocturne
Love these cards and sick video idea. My favorite card was Neeko, but I will say I think Milio fits mage better than Ezreal, though your Ezreal card was pretty sick.
Man there's a ton of cool ideas for league champs. I think Bard could make an interesting stall/setup tool if you gave it a battlecry similar to its ult like "Battlecry: all minions go Dormant for 2 turns" or something of that nature. Almost like Reno's board clear in that it doesn't trigger deathrattles and restricts a lot of board space, but they get the minions back. or maybe like give both players a location that sneaks minions into play like the tunnel that you could run in something like a Big Priest maybe. Symmetrical effects that you can just capitalize on better. man i love Bard.
I could see some shenanigans with Ornn and bounceback cards.
Maybe control warrior isn't good rn, but this could push it over the top.

Taric has a skin literally dedicated to a paladin tier set. I think you could have had done something really cool with that.

I think not giving Ornn something to do with forge is a crime, as he’s a weaponsmith. Maybe something like
Battlecry: Give your weapon +3/+1 for each time you forged this game.

Sad, I left Legends of Runeterra.
Shockingly enough it was because they introduced rotation as a format and I lost all drive to play the game. It’s very funny how that was the one thing I directly emailed them telling them “Do not mess this up do not mess this up do not mess this up” and they still did anyway.

I'd personally like to see your take on Legends of Runeterra, or porting LOR type effects, cause even if I don't really have an interest in the game anymore, I love the card design and how they use mechanics to translate champs.

Hey man, you can't say that just because instant speed interaction exists in LOR!
But I do have to chime in as an ex LOR player and say that I love stuff like region melding, making interaction expensive, early Runeterran champs like Eve and Aatrox, That sacrificing in LOR can be interacted with (unlike with MTG), Certain one off mechanics like Deep/Lurk/Predict/Daybreak and Husks, and the prevalence of deck generation/manipulation, and would like to know your disagreements with the game in a serious/earnest manner.
And this isn't even mentioning how f2p generous the game is, genuinely insane that a card game has no pack buying system at all but thats probs the reason why LOR generated so little revenue tbh.

I have watched a good amount of your videos and I have 1 question:
Why every card you make or redesign has 4+ lines of text and effects that are clearly over the top? That's territory of MTG or Yu-Gi-Oh.
I think that Hearthstone cards are short and simple but smart and deep at the same time.
the issue is that a lot of those could be fixed by making keywords, and is what blizzard would do. But i'm not gonna make a fake keyword that no one knows what it is. Like consider Excavate would probably take 10 lines of text to explain but because its a keyword its just 1 word.

I did the same, made League Champs into hearthstone cards, made Galio Colossal a Paladin 10 mana 9-10 Divine shield and taunt, your hero has Divine shield as long as it lives.

this is probably the worst type of content. I was excited to click the channel after watching the interesting and well-made secrets video but I wasn't ready to be disappointed this badly.
What's next, fortnite guns as hs cards? Minecraft animals? Top 50 cartoon characters that need to become cards? This is just nonsense m8 and brings the overall quality of the channel down.
