This is one of my early evening videos that I started to correct colors on. Night shots are pretty difficult aren't they? Anyway thank you very much for watching! 😄
Thank you very much for the compliment! Most of my videos in the "Walking Tour" playlist are round trips and I hope will like the other ones too. I'm also glad you liked the name tags! Thank you very much for watching! 😄
I don't know about that. But people in Tokyo tend to keep distance while people in Osaka tend to be close to other people. This makes Osaka people look friendlier but some consider them too close. But I like the way they talk to me on the street more casually when I go back to Kansai.
Thank you very much for watching! Actually evening videos are much easier to shoot than daytime video. Because I don't have to worry about the weather so much and also I can save a lot of energy from heat! 😄
I thought this place was Kabukiza but it looks like they sold it to the hotel company. It was indeed very beautiful and I'm glad that they preserve the appearance of Kabukiza intact. Thank you very much for watching! 😄
No I didn't. I was so tired after shooting this video and went straight back to hotel... 😅 Although I published this video as the 4th video of Osaka, I actually shot this on the very first day of my arrival after shooting 2 videos in Kobe. 😄
@@VSV_Japan I actually wonder that myself. I live in Europe and there are not that many walking channels here apart from some walking videos in southern Europe like touristic parts of Italy or Greece.
Well aligned title with the bottom of the wall 1:53, we can see the legendary reputation of Japanese handcrafting. Did you know that it's in the general Japanese mindset to seek perfection?
Thank you so much for your compliment! But I sometimes find myself spending an hour or so making a little title so I try not to seek perfection too much these days because it affects the productivity of the entire video making. But you know, I can't help it sometimes... 😄 My favorite is at the end of this video ( ruclips.net/video/yA16GUFhO_U/видео.html ) please watch around 37:54 when "Hankyu Osaka-Umeda Station" title appears.
So, any idea what that ceremony might have been at the shrine you passed by? It looked like one of the guys was throwing what looked like chopsticks into the fire, which I've heard of there being ceremonies held for things like that, for people to sort of give thanks to their old chopsticks or whatever, but I kinda doubt that was what was happening. We went to Osaka in late 2019 and really enjoyed or time there - thanks for the trip down memory lane, and keep up the great work!
Sorry I still have no idea what it was. They have a website and their yearly event schedules are there but the one on July 28th is not listed... I wonder what it was...
😄😄😄 That's true. When they build billboards they often use Hiragana because it's easier to read and noticeable. Politicians use this tactics too for election. They print their names in Hiragana on purpose so people remember their names easier.
I just visited Okinawa (Ishigaki) in March so I guess it's be a while before I come to Okinawa again. Sorry. But my friend recently moved to Okinawa so I'd like to come see him maybe in winter or so. Thank you as always for watching my videos! 😄
I am from HK, and I miss Japan so much usually travel to Japan once a year, but in 2020.....obviously it's impossible, so, love watching this type of "walking tour" video!
Thank you very much for watching! It's sad that traveling has been simply impossible these days. But I hope this crisis gets over soon so everyone can travel freely again. When such days come, please come visit Japan again!!! 😄
Oh I see what you mean, yoshi, the dreamlike excitement continues at nighttime. I noticed the pleasant lack of flickering lights besides one example of the global issue of painful flickering bike lights at 3:00 . The detail of Hotel Royal Classic Osaka is not only that it looks inviting, or as if the traditional part carries the modern but that the roofline of the modern has also the partial attempt of a tradition rooftop line. At 5:27 there’s an interesting lantern like shop sign to the right. Of course I noticed the martens store at 13:35 but also the cute penguin figure next door. What’s up with this creepy Harlekin at 18:45 that sort of distracts too much from the photogenic moment with the white ribboned girl. Yes, the temple scene was quite interesting , do you know what sort of ritual it was? At 21:42 I smiled about the cute side-eying lantern figure. Don’t you agree that those no bike signs at 22:08 look like backstreet gangsters grinning in the dark? Have you noticed the cat figure to the right at 22:15? The street from 23:50 on is lined with cat lanterns and idk if you noticed the one piece clothes and the cute black onesie for kids? One nice detail to mention last is I like how you end where you started. 🤗 no matter how exhausted you were while shooting this the bento was a good reward for this interesting video and there’s no need to point out glico as it’s a main attraction too often mentioned 😆
Hotel Royal Classic Osaka used to be a Kabuki theatre. I don't know what happened to them but it's been taken over by this hotel... You seem to hate flickering lights a lot but I'm sorry there is not much for me to do to reduce the flicker. It has a lot of things to do with LED frequency and shutter speed + ISO speed. But still night time is easier to control it. If I remember correctly I shot this video in auto mode but these days I use 1/50 shutter speed. But there is a trade-off to use such slow shutter speed. Images tend to be blurry and pictures get noisy. However this technique won't work under the bright sun. I'm still experimenting trial & error.
@@VSV_Japan it is because it causes pain in my brain. and i know it’s a problem of my health and also of gears in general. it isn’t your fault, neither mine. I enjoyed the video. thank you for the explanation.
Government started what is called "Go To Travel Campaign” to encourage people to travel but it decided to exclude Osaka a few days ago due to a rising number of infection.

2) name tag of key streets and buildings
remind the good old days in Osaka

is it just me or i feel like ppl in Osaka seem more enjoy life than ppl in Tokyo.
ppl in Tokyo always live in rush hour tho
