    Defiantly making these! I sculpt miniatures so I have A LOT of polymer clay and paints, so for anyone looking to save on buying the buttons for the snout or possibly eyes, I'd suggest making them out of clay. Plus they would have the matte finish. Thank you so much for sharing this!

    The cows are so cute, but lady cows don't have horns I don't think. Only the bulls. But they are adorable 😍

    • @papillionremonte65
      @papillionremonte65 Год назад

      All cattle, male and female, have horns except for a few specific breeds. It is not uncommon for farmers to remove horns when they are small.

    I waited so impatiently for your video on these. ANd thank you so much for doing it. It's great. But since I do not have a pool noodles on hand(don't use them much) I made a sock gnome and glued it to a wood round. Covered in fur. I'm not sure how I can add the felt horns to it. Or is the sock version only good for the clay horns?? Please advise. Thanks for all you do to help us green horns. Pun intended. Lol.

    • @SarahNenniDaher
      @SarahNenniDaher  Год назад

      You can absolutely use the felt on the sock. I've not used these, but you have two options for a secure, clean join.
      1. Glue them onto the body before the fur. Split the fur where they are positioned and guide them through the hole.
      2. Put wire into the felt horns (bend over the end at the tip of the horn). Cut off any excess flap to get the right sized horns, glue the opening closed flat with the wire sticking out. Then, press the wire straight down into the pool noodle and bend into place. You'll have to cover the fur join but with a vertical seam, it should not stick out.
      Again, I've not tried these yet but either of those make the most sense.

    • @SarahNenniDaher

      Sure, Tami. Option 1: You can download the file to your computer and print from there. Option 2: Open the file in any image reader, make sure it's set to 100%, and trace from your computer screen. :)

      You can glue or wire them - both will work, but wire will have a bit more longevity.
