FLIP MELODIES WITH ANY SAMPLER // My Workflow on the MPC ONE

- Samplers like the MPC and the SP404 are great for flipping samples, but that is not all they’re good for. I also love using my samplers to flip my own instruments and melodies. Although I am using the Digitone in this beat, I often use this technique to flip melodies on other live instruments.
For this beat, I used the MPC ONE as the standalone tool to flip the samples, including drums, melodies, and bass. I'll also show you some sampling techniques that you can use to create your own beats, and breathe life into your music.
I hope you enjoy this workflow, and the sample based beat, and I hope the video provides some inspiration for your own production. I will be in the comments, so let me know what you want to see in a future video!

Flipping melodies is so sick, highly recomend doing it to your own music to anyone who plays an instrument
+1 I have just started to sample my own original music and it is FUN
@@spymagnet I've been lucky enought to have RyanMakesBeats flip some of my original music around with me which was really fun. I'm a guitar player so we we were able to come up with an entirely new solo from noodling that helped me get out of some ruts.
This is what I'm curious about getting into. Been playing piano my whole life
Oh man I love this. Between you and Marlow Digs I’m totally jazzed about my MPC again! Thank you 🙏 ❤
Nice. To all who don’t know you can use this exact method with Simpler or Serato etc, probably quicker.
This beat’s so laid back and fire at the same time. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you, really appreciate the support!!
U are good u a good teacher
Sampling and Flipping my own instruments on the Sp404 mk2 is a big part of my workflow.
It's crazy some of the stuff you can do with it 😁.
Good stuff mate 👍
That beats great, where did the drums come from? On an unrelated note, I can't stop worrying that that midi controller is gonna drop. Smallest shelf ever.
Very nice
Sick! Something new to think about when using the MPC. Dig it!
Super Dope Sir
🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
Love your content! You’re like that cool neighbor that always has great taste
So dope! Thanks for this!
Yo! Thanks for the video! Very cool approach, and slick beats. Loving it
super tight. gonna try this out with my sp404!
Great 👍🏿 beat man. I love your beats, I’ve been following you for a minute now. Great Job
Thank you man, appreciate the continued support for real!
damn youre good!
What an excellent video! I wonder how did you processed the drum break
Sup Ryan. Glad to see you flipping beats. Another way to add texture, and diversity to the beat is by adding in x/y effects. I do it on like 1 bar to break up the monotony
Agree man, the x/y is awesome!
@@RYANMAKESBEATShey guys , care to elaborate on x/y?
Nice beat
🔥 where those drums from??
Great explanation
very cool.
Love the video! Can you please do one like this when you use the MPC to find the key of the sample?
Use an ASR-10, MPC 3000 or something tasty, those 45s are sweet though.
U did the gutair on a separate sample into mpc like u did the diggatone sample
U did that of 1 sample
You have 2 cameras or phones to record
❤
Blu could go on this
How long did this really take you lol
Can you do something around 125 bpm
Yes, will try this in a future video!
When you say you slowed it down, do you mean pitched down?
Yes, I turn down the semi tones which also slows down the sample. It's similar to slowing down the record player speed. Thanks for watching!
What’ Up Bro!! Can You Make Some Beat Like This??? To Listen To?? I Jus Sub
The vinyl sound is annoying it sound like background frequency,
🤪🤪
