How do you parallel process and I want to record my drummer? I need 10-12 (drums) audio tracks. As I'm recording, I like to use my Neeve emulation VST. How can I achieve this in the MPC.? Thats how we do things in Cubase and Protools..
I believe you can do this in the MPC One, Live, and the X. I'm almost certain we can parallel process and parallel compress in the MPC Live. You can definitely record up to 12 audio tracks (depending on the internal drive it may or may not lag a bit), and you can even plug in an interface to the MPC Live. I'll do a video on this and try to cover recording drums on multiple tracks and parallel process, thanks for watching, by the way!
@antwonanderson2562 Yeah, my bad. I said it's possible to do 12, but I was thinking of controller mode. But 8 is a definite. Personally, for tracking out drums, I would use ProTools, Cubase or FL, or any DAW for that matter.
When you say batch the tracks. I have seen in other videos where you went into the track editing you can choose and change the order of the tracks. So instead of deleting them you can make track 15 to be track 1 and track 3 to be track 2 etc. and it will move their order.
Yeah, I meant like, grouping the tracks together so they can be deleted at once, instead of one at a time. That's a good work-around though. Thanks bro, I'll have to play around with the track editing feature and see what I can do, and I'll go over it in one of my next videos 🙌
Just what I needed to see. I have the same Mpc Live 2 Gold Edition btw. Love it.
Aye! Gotta represent that gold edition man! I appreciate you for watching, and I'm glad you liked it!
Saying 3.4 is insane lol You on something we don’t know about yet ?
Hold shift
yo can you make a video showing how to install and format a ssd sata into my mpc live 2?
I'm about to upgrade my MPC Live's storage, so I'll definitely do a video on that in the near future. I appreciate you for watching 🙌
If you duplicate tracks it carries samples over
So more same sounds 😢😢😢

You can only record 8 audio tracks on standalone but unlimited in controller mode. As far as I know.
