@GaryCOLLOMAN. so when you have a sound (drum or sample) on a pad, double-click the WAV sample you see on the screen, and then you should see the button "Layer" across the screen under the WAV, you can layer slices and drums that way. I go over it more in my last video and the one before that.

You could put multiple sounds on one pad

When you install it, you have to log back into your MPC Live account in order to activate it

I haven't ran into this issue. Definitely let Akai support know about that bro, I'm sorry you're dealing with that, I'd be mad!

Because it ducks the dynamics (frequency) and not the volume. Sometimes it can give you a cleaner mix.

You should be able to hold SHIFT and click each track to highlight them. I'll try to cover the arranger mode a little bit in my next video

@@thahyst thanks for replying, On my MPCX I definitely cant highlight multiple tracks by holding shift. I did accidentally create a 'locator' when shift was pressed and I dont know how to remove it. Can you elaborate as I might be doing something wrong.. Thanks Lee

I got you, man. There's a few different reasons why I would resample the drum loop. I did it in this video just to; 1. Have it for later on use and add it to my sound library. And, 2. To have a little more control and ability to change it up more by chopping the resampled drum loop. Resampling can also help add a little texture to sounds as well.
