First vid I've seen of yours and I'm subbed. Really clean and concise, great work! That usage of stem separation on the drum loop is a great idea I never would have thought about as well so thank you! 👍
Thank you, I'm glad you liked the video and took something away from it. I have a lot of (i hope useful) ideas that I'm going to be sharing in upcoming videos. Thanks again for watching, man, I really appreciate you. 🙌
I've been a DJ for decades, playing Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, House and other various genre. I decided it's time to make my own music, so I have just bought and MPC. Cannot wait to get to know the in's and out's, get dug into my record collection, get creative and make tunes. This video was useful to watch, thanks. Respect!
Man, that's awesome to hear! It's such a great machine. And I'm sure you have some useful records to be sampling from already being a DJ 🏆 btw thank you for watching the video. I'm glad you took something away from it, and I have a lot more coming.
Btw , cool trick you did with drumloop , convert it to audio track. I realy need to learn more what you can do in audio. I heared that its easier to manipulate in audio , but i tried ti re arrange something once , but couldnt do it. Not even cut and paste
I'm glad you took something away from the video bro! It helps a lot with creativity when you bounce the midi to audio, but it takes some practice just getting things fitting the way you want when it comes to arranging. You got this man!
Can you make a video explaining that peq 4 band plugin , and those others ? I think most , like me , understand the kill eq plugin but i dont realy understand 4 band or 2 band ( dont know difference) and bell , shell.
I got you, man. There's a few different reasons why I would resample the drum loop. I did it in this video just to; 1. Have it for later on use and add it to my sound library. And, 2. To have a little more control and ability to change it up more by chopping the resampled drum loop. Resampling can also help add a little texture to sounds as well.
Great video! Can you break down how you connected the keyboard? I assume you connected it through USB. What internal connections on MPC did you set in order to trigger the sounds? Tks in advance!
Thanks for watching! I appreciate you 🙌 you should be able to just plug it into the back of the MPC usb slot and it should start working right away. I didn't have to configure anything. But I'll definitely mention this in my next video and show how i plug it in 🫡
Dope video 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
@eriqwright9257 ayye, i appreciate you, and thanks for watching bro 🙏

@@thahyst Yeah, thousand of useful records. With my MPC and my records, I am like a kid in a sweet shop.
If you resample in the looper, there won't be a tail. Also you can set how many bars you want to resample. ♠️
Dope video
I appreciate you 💪 And thank you for watching!
Oh wow you use the volume levels to blend the beats together! Interesting
Usually I'll do it through the mix window though
Cool

For sure, I can definitely do a video going over more of the plugins, especially that EQ that used. By the way, thanks for watching the video, bro!
Its easier to use the looper for resampling and always stops at the end of the loop making it loop perfectly.
Hook up a mic 🎤 to the MPC and bang on a desk! You won’t get sued 👍🏽😁
I’m still new at the MPC, what is the reason for resampling the drum loop?

@@thahyst 🤔 Thanks bro I’m learning more and more each day. Keep up the great productions..
