BRO! Can you come up with tutorials for the Key 37? The way you explain things reaches out to me! From your verbal eloquence to actual hands-on demonstration, and simplicity, seriously made sense of it all for me with Sampling. It would be nice if you were able to make full "how-to's," of the MPC Key 37! Thank you for this!!!
quick tip anyone who can’t seem to figure out why they aren’t getting audio. on the back of the mpc near the input there is a rec vol knob turn that up
Finally u r dropping your workflow! Please share more… I’ve been following u on IG just subscribed on RUclips since I found out u have a RUclips channel after Ave hyped you video! Great job bro. Thank you
@@Yhuntermusic thanks for the invite bro! After subbing now I see you have always been dropping gems. I would specifically like to see more MPC if you can. Thanks
I've been looking everywhere for the information that you have provided in this video. I was asking myself, why is everyone chopping using the pads? As you say in this video, you cannot chop on the keys which I find wild. I've grown up using the ASR 10 and there is nothing like chopping and sampling on keys. Turns out you can't work like that on the mpc key?
You can definitely do that! You can use the MPC software to export/bounce when you’re done or use the export function to get the track outs to edit in a DAW of your choice
HELP PLEASE....I had made a beat.. somehow the original beat get switched all up so where the drums was at now the sample is there..to make a long story short I like the new beat too...I have the old beat saved...is there anyway I can save the new beat and keep the old beat...I know if I start new project it will ask me to save and if I don't save it will go back to the original beat...so what I need help with is the any way I can save the new beat without getting rid of the original beat??help anybody please..????
Not with the keys. But you can trigger them for sure! I don't think you "need" this coming from the X in my opinion.. If you need a more portable setup then, YES!
@@robertalexander2478 Best bet is to use the 37 as a MIDI Controller via USB 2.0 and have the 37 go into 2 Channels of your interface. You can use the sounds from both Native & the 37 that way. I actually do this with Ableton!
Yes and no.. The standalone experience is different than a DAW... The "limited" workflow of the MPC invokes a different level of creativity. J Dilla (RIP) is a perfect example of this!
Two things: 1. Connect your MPC to your computer via USB 2.0 and select a MIDI Track on your MPC. Set it to USB MIDI Thru Port 1. This will allow you to use your MPC as a MIDI Controller. 2. Get 2 quarter inch cables and connect them from the MAIN OUT of the MPC to the INPUTS of your interface. In FL you should be able to change the I/O to your interface. Select an audio track in FL and make the I/O is set to where you plugged in your MPC and you should be good to go!
This man is a natural born teacher
Really appreciate that!!

My pleasure to share!!
Very informative video! Absolutely loved it! You were born to do this! Keep going and growing 🙏🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This video is so well made :))
Man i appreciate that "Global" tip in the program edit menu, very useful! 🔥
My pleasure!!
Please keep us on top of this keyboard thank you the tutorial. Will have a tutorial course on this great peace of equipment akai mpc 37 😮
Never fails 👊🏾🔥🔥🔥
Thanks a lot bro!!
Niceeeeee‼️🔥
Good looks.
You didnt have to warp it to be able to slow it down like that ?
Not at all! That "Global" option slows down the pitch and tempo. Warping will convert the sample to your current sequence tempo (if that makes sense).
This is the only video I've found actually showing how to do this
Hope it helped! Blessings!
Yo Im trying to sample from my dj controller into my mpc key 37 and every sample I record is so distorted. I can’t figure out why.
Welp I’ll be picking up that drum kit.
Gotta support fellow drummers. ✊🏾
Really appreciate the support in advance!!

Very cool, can this do realtime stretching and pitch modulation globally on all samples? If so I'm trading my maschine in for this

Hello may i ask, can you revise a sample?
Baseline tutorial ❤❤❤
Can you use the MPC key 37 as a midi controller with Logic??
Sure why not
Absolutely! Change the track option to MIDI and boom, instant MIDI Controller
@@Yhuntermusic thanks 👍🏾
What made you get that over sampler this on the left of the Akai 37
I can't seem to get the sample to loop when I turn on loop...it just plays and stops no matter what.
nice
When I plug my iPhone the volume is so low
dope. so to be clear, you can only chop with the pads? there's no way to chop using the keys?
@ yaahn hunter jr can you tell me how to stop my track from muting and solo-ing on its own????Help
ay bro bro , how do u shutdown the key 37 , it keeps sayin it wasnt shutdown properly
is your sample cable trs stereo or mono boss ?
Can you chop with the keys on the MPC Keys 37?

If I wanted to take a track ! Can I make a Dj Edit & add some different drums using this piece of equipment !

I just purchased this keyboard a week ago. Haven’t worked with it yet. My first time into making beats need help. I am originally a DJ.
NICE! Let me know how you like it!!

Can you manipulate the samples with the keys? Also, if I have an mpcx, do I need this? If so, what’s the advantage?
Thanx

Man I just bought the MPC One I shoulda waited
Nah just get a midi keyboard, you are good, mpc one still has one of the best workflow with all its buttons
My G! They both are dope! You may have time to return it lol!!
Is it possible to use plugins from other makers?
No but you can use you're own one shots and samples

How do you figure out the BPM of the sample?
You can do "Tap Tempo" and/or pitch it up and down to match your bpm..
Couldn’t you do this, plus more, and better on a daw?

only being able to chop from pads is kind of silly
LOL I hear you. However, it is a sufficient system..
how do i hook this up to fl studio and use the internal sounds please help

1. Connect your MPC to your computer via USB 2.0 and select a MIDI Track on your MPC. Set it to USB MIDI Thru Port 1. This will allow you to use your MPC as a MIDI Controller.
