Nice video mate. Apologies it's taken me so long to watch and comment. Great to see an array of products sometimes in a video. Just quick and easy no nonsence use of them. It compliments what you do so well on other videos when you really get into detail.
Thanks mate yeah weirdly I wasn’t going to record this clean as I didn’t plan it out but it’s been one of my more watched videos so maybe the audience just wants to see products being used without any testing faff 🤔 The videos are there to watch whenever you feel in the mood, I like the later views and comments because it helps RUclips know it’s still active and can recommend it to others so watching later you’re still helping 👌
It made a change tbh. I wasn't sure if I'd like it as I really enjoy your in depth stuff. It came across a bit like Marks stuff where he just picked up a product and uses it. Like some other YT videos it wasn't just full of rinsing footage thankfully. Don't give up the detailed stuff though, that's what really sets you apart from the rest. 👍
Glad you grabbed your camera for this one, nice mix of products. I’ve enjoyed using the 26JPN wheel soap too but not had chance to appreciate its power alone like this which was impressive. Hydro seal at the end has got to be one of the slowest but most thorough sheeters around. Bit odd but at least it helped the drying stage.
Yeah I’ll def never be out doing stuff without it again as it’s become quite a popular video!, reminds me of my very first trial of spray and rinse products where Autoglanz Hyd-Re-Seal behaved in exactly the same way as this , wait , could it be?? 😐
Top job, car looked great. Love the Ford magnetic grey, my Ford is that colour. Been using Carpro Hydro 2 on mine over winter and just used Touch On for my dad's qashqai, which seems to be an excellent product. All the best.
Thanks Lee, I used Carpro Hydro on a fiesta right back at the start of the channel it’s the best product I’ve used as a spray & rinse , absolutely amazing
Great video and well done for mentioning carchem and what they do, as I know there are only 3 in uk cooking all the chemicals and the rest are just relabelled,I might be wrong 🤷🏻♂️, but even me keep buying different brands just for fun and still manage to find differences 😁
Thanks Audrius!, it’s a massive can of worms where chemicals are concerned , people get so annoyed when you mention their favourite brands are ripping them off 🤣 I too enjoy trying out different products , it’s def an addiction 🤣
This was a de'j'a vu moment for me watching this as I had my neighbours car in from my previous address & it was a Fiesta with the same paint colour and I was using a selection of odds and sods from my chemical arsenal for a full clean, decontamination and protection. As you were using the GT wheel mitt I suddenly thought where is mine and I will need to hunt it down. My chemicals have all been taken inside for the winter and my cloths and applicators are all boxed up so I will need to hunt it down. As I started my process at 11.30 I will need to get the protection done tomorrow but at least the wet work is finished. I will be applying Ultra wax to the car courtesy of John at Mitchell & King on top of Guard his winter sealant and Pure paint cleaner. This will be the first time I have used this combination so it will be interesting to see the results. Another enjoyable watch from you and I hope that my result is equally as good as yours but it is looking good so far. That paint colour looks so good when it is clean.
Thanks John!, oh I had a phone call from M&K and he mentioned you , (well I presume it was you )😅 That’s crazy isn’t it watching a completely parallel moment I’m going to have my first play around with M&K stuff tomorrow , need to use it a few times before finally filming a review to give it its best use over a mixture of levels of dirt etc and I think I have guard also 😉
@@GMDetails I hope you enjoy the M & K experience I do and as yet I have not found a product that disappoints and that is borne out by the five star reviews on the website. I have every product they do and I keep finding new ones that blow me away and I have tried products from many of the mainstream suppliers. I forgot to mention I like the sound of the Cho Chemi APC with the rust inhibitor built in. I use the Bilt Hamber one for my disks but I am not overly impressed but I use tap water to dilute it and the girl from Autocare HQ advised me to use distilled water but I have as yet to find a supplier to purchase that from but to be fair I keep forgetting to look.
@@GMDetails Thanks for that info. Just a footnote I finished the car early afternoon. The guard is so easy to use and left an incredible shine and then the Armour which went on & off like a dream. It almost looked like a full ceramic when the sun caught it and the customer was delighted with the result commenting it is better than when i bought it.
Great video! I would personally recommend you to use something a bit stronger on the tires such as a dedicated rubber cleaner or a degreaser with a stiffer brush, Soft detailing brush and a apc combination wont remove the grime properly and if u apply tire shine afterwards it wont last as long as it would if the tires were given a deeper clean!
Thanks mate , I normally do but, and I hope you understand being in the auto care business, I wanted to show what this product can do and yes I should have used the Tuff shine brush on the tyres but the owner is never going to keep up that maintenance on them and time constraints to get the job done to a level both of us were happy with , if it was my own car yes , definitely I’d use a rubber cleaner but for the purposes of a video , I can’t keep using the same stuff every time I appreciate the feedback though mate, great tips thank you 👍
Great video mate, I've not done my car in a few months either due to catching sepsis at the start of November spent 2 months in hospital it's been a long battle to even get the basic mobility back, watching your videos is keeping me going though. Cheers 👍
Cracking video, I love those days with no planned recording - just pick some random products on the shelves and get the job done 👌🏼 that wheel shampoo does look good though 👍🏼
@@GMDetails 100% anyone who has a channel has to have the same attitude - if you're cleaning, get the camera out... Even if you don't use the footage, better to have the option than regret not recording in the first place lol
Absolutely agree 100% , I’ve got footage from June that I haven’t used yet , looks really good too but will have to wait on using another product or 2 before I can do the editing 🤣
Enjoyed the video mate. Brother will be chuffed. Green Star is superb. 26 JPN stuff looks worth a try. Might have to try DK cola again as I wasn’t blown away by it. 👍
Thanks Garry, maybe it was better with warm water but I didn’t think the black Halloween shampoo they did was all that great and others loved it , strange how we all have different experiences with things 😅
@@GMDetails Indeed. I used it on the wife’s car a fortnight ago and barely got a whiff of the scent but could just be my crap sense of smell! My car tomorrow but think that will get GT one shampoo. 👌
Great video G. Like Mark said camera out when the buckets come out. Do you not find if you plan to do something, someone/something goes wrong. I'm finding I'm using green star more and more for jobs so it defo saving money without comprising cleaning power. Great results with some great products 👍👍
Thanks Paul, yeah that’s a good practice to remember 🤣🤣 Something does indeed mostly go wrong with plans , just my luck Loving Greenstar and Surfex HD, both exceptional general cleaning products
@@GMDetails I'm planning to use my new toys this weekend and wash the car. But like last weekend everything went wrong, I got up too early to stand and look at a frozen car, finger crossed. Will post on insta if successful 🤞🤞
Great video Graham, have you used the Gt V2 snow foam in your MTM PF 22 yet ?. I’ve used Hydro Seal for a few years now & think it’s pretty good, I prefer to use through a foam lance because it’s always bloody windy & you get a more & controlled even application.
Thanks Alan, I don’t think I have as yet used v2 in the MTM mate , it was partly redesigned to be used with an MJJC so i thought I’d try and see, didn’t think much of the 50/450 mix on that occasion so will need to try and find a happy spot somewhere. Do you use hydro seal at 25% dilution in the lance ?
@@GMDetails TBH Graham, i'm not impressed by the look of the V2 snow foam, i think they should have left V1 & people should have used the dilution mixture dial to get a proper consistency.. V2 reminds me too much of BH auto foam, but i have 5L of V1 so it doesn't affect me for a long time. I use Hydroseal, Beadz & ceramic foams etc thorough my MTM PF22.2 at 50ml - 200ml water but obviously it's super important to thoroughly flush it out after. i use it neat on the wheels for extra protection. Using them with the MJJC would use far too much product.
Good points Alan, totally agree with you initially on the v2 snowfoam at the moment anyway I do love how v1 works both in the MJJC & MTM, even the Autobrite one is good with it , I’ll need to do more tinkering to see if I can find a good dilution that suits me
@@GMDetails I bought a Detail Factory Tyre Brush & it's excellent. i already have a SGCB which is like holding a slippery eel & a Tuf Shine type but this is major improvement on both. They are far too aggressive, remove any previous dressings & i was concerned about potential damage to the edge of diamond cut wheels, but this is a slightly longer, denser & softer bristle & the rim of the body is rubberised. Matt at Obsessed garage uses one, well worth a purchase & relegate your other brushes to other folks cars.
Enjoyable watch Graham 👌
Thanks Kevin, much appreciated 👍
Good watch as always 👍
Thanks mate, appreciated 👍
