It seems like the Flyers are years away, but then you realize it’s realistic that Foerster Michkov TK and Tippett could score 30+ goals while Brink Coots Farabee and Frost could score 20+ goals. If their defense plays to potential and goaltending is solid they will make the playoffs.
They have no legit #1 center, it's questionable if Frost is a #2, no legit #1 dman and the goaltending is a big question mark. They have some good scoring wingers but other than Frost, they have no playmaking centers to setup these wingers and we haveno dominating shutdown defender. The most important parts, center and defense are where we are weakest. We will score more goals, but without Walker, Seeler will revert back to the # 6-7 dman he always was, he had a career year at 30 as a pending UFA. He was never a second pair guy. Drysdale is horrible defensively, small and injury prone ,he is not a second pair dman at this point. We are gonna have a real problem with the second pair. One long term injury to Sanheim or York and it's all over. We will be a bottom ten team again.

Frost has always been a slow burn to get to his best at each level and hasn’t had elite talent to capitalize on hisplaymaking … skill sharpens skill;) MATI-ICE and Foerster also getting better will be the wings he needs to shine

we need a goalie. Torts will keep them in the mix he did last year and the goalies were worst in the league......
Forget it guys, Tortorella won't be able to sell "playoff hockey" in the regular season to this group next year.
Ersson has never been better than .900 even in the minors. He requires massive support. Defensive liabilities like Drysdale and Johnson will doom him. The d core is awful. Fedotov is awful.
Michkov is a curse. The fat cats like Konency and Tippet wont backcheck. And neither will Michkov.
Then you have the joke that is the captain.
Last year Tortorella could crack the whip and keep them to a plan. What about this year? Seeler isn't going to block shots anymore. His pockets are full of money now.
This is a bunch of individuals that will give up a ton of goals. Just like they did in the final portion of last season. They will be so bad defensively that Drysdale will be -60 over 80 games.
They will score 4 and give up 6. Tortorella will go insane. Briere will end up coaching this team this year. It will be a total fiasco.
