this was heartbraking, i truly felt bad for pasqualino, i think don pietro did too, only time in the whole series he shows any kind of empathy, otherwise he is a murderous psycotic criminal

A camiss is an Arab word !! I think napolitan has a lot of commun word with Arab because of the position of the city and the the period of two siscilias kingdom of spagna wich has a commun history with mauresque dynasty !! A other exemple is the verb avere : in Italiano we say ho fame for example . In napule it’s teng fame.
@Trump Lost, cry about it M There are quite a few Arab words in Italian and European languages in genereal. Camicia is the Italian name for shirt, it´s not a particularly Neapolitan thing. Alcohol and cotton are words that made it even to the English language. We are talking about words that belong to things/ products that Arabs intoduced a few centuries ago. Arabs had a cultural high around 800-1100 a.d. you need to consider this.

@@Maniahg don't worry they're actually pretty decent, the only thing in this clip is that they used the word "bum" when the correct translation should have been "gipsy".

Also "uncle" is wrong, in that context it would be "dude", the word zio here doesn’t indicate any kinship
