You do not have to use two-mic stands with this isolation shield. Amazon sells it with a mic stand attachment bracket that allows use with a single mic stand. Actually, at 4:38 you can see the bracket for the single mic stand sitting in the box.

Thanks for the video! I couldn't figure out how to hook it up to my mic stand. No instructions. I have a pro line mic stand from guitar center that it fits quite nicely on just as an FYI in case you are looking for a new mic stand but thank you for the vid. :) Oh and I left my boom on there. The thread on the boom fit the center part of the shield perfectly. :)
your can to use the clamp with the 2 knobs for the stand its has to go on the back it should work for all stands skinny pole to so you could use a round base Stand
Hey man- take the little star-shaped washer off the tiny baton shaped thing and screw it on the mic stand before the flat black mic holder. It’ll hold it up- then put the shied third in the order on top
I bought another stand but I can’t attach either of them as they don’t fit into the side holes. If I only use one stand it can’t support the isolation booth. Now I have to mic stands and still can’t support it
@@noekromar6847 yh mate I was being a melon. The stand extends further and then it supports it fine. I still use two stands but you can probably use one
So judging by the time lapse and the 2 separate stands that you used to assemble it the wrong way, you did a tutorial where you do not actually know how to assemble it to begin with.
Thanks for this helpful video!! The shield sounds like it works. You also showed how to assemble it. Now I'm really thinking of getting it. Problem is the camera can't see me in a video
It took you 14mins just to explain something that could of been explained in 2mins So much un necessary content with stupid music....so did you waist you time putting this thing together? No you waisted our time watching you put it together, Thanks man
Cool video and test. I could honestly hear the difference between without and with. Though when you started testing out your mic after the Isolation Shield was set up, it sounded like it was peaking for some odd reason, but near the end it sounded perfect. Oh also, the music was very loud compared to your voice for me. Cheers, thanks for the video!
The thing I found with this isolation shield is its to freakin heavy to put on one stand. SO you gotta use 2 so it doesn't fall over. Kinda annoying but whatever. Please tell me if anyone found a solution for this
EverythingNerdy Gaming Channel I gave you a thumbs up - are you bumping your feet into light stand? Just received one of these thinking a mic stand with round heavy base. Main use will be tabletop and it’s perfect for that application.
Hey my man.. Cool Video.. Was looking for Video's on isolation shield.. but what caught me was the song in the middle of the track.. Nice!! Is that you and how did you get the effect on your vocals!?

He also changed keys.
Thank you
Thanks. VERY little difference. Likely due to it being a cheap monoprice version.

Wooowww I'm amazed with this review ❤😊
Hey man- take the little star-shaped washer off the tiny baton shaped thing and screw it on the mic stand before the flat black mic holder. It’ll hold it up- then put the shied third in the order on top
If you're trying to put this together - there's a clamp that you attach with the 2 hex screws on the back. It'll clamp on to any heavy-duty mic stand.
Which light stands are you using? So I can buy them too and don't get the wrong ones. 😊
I bought another stand but I can’t attach either of them as they don’t fit into the side holes. If I only use one stand it can’t support the isolation booth. Now I have to mic stands and still can’t support it
I got the same problem bro... and its fucked cuss I already bought a reflection filter
do you found a solution?

So it cuts out the background computer noise and everything?

Been trying to figure how to set this up for ages. No instructions came with mine. Does not fit on my mic stands.
switch over to the rockshield 4. and you can just use one stand... fun video. its always frustrating setting up new equip.
It does sound drier. Would have been good to edit and cut and do an AB with and without it.
Wait, a $1200 mic going into a $130 interface? No Neumann shock mount?
At least yours came with instructions, mine came with NOTHING
What is it call to sit it up with I got my shield

Hey, good channel keep it up
do you still use this? it looks like it could be a lot more simple?
I actually sold it. I built a booth. I did eventually buy stronger stand to hold it by itself

yea. I just got a 3 leg tripod stand with a really wide range

didn't need the big detour about your backward mic.. And an A/B comparison at the end would have been nice.
Hi can you tell me the name of the 2 stand please
Does the mic come with it or no? Of not what mic do you have
The mic is neumann tlm 103 goes for around 1100$, so it doesnt Come with it☺️
Thanks bro!
thx for watching. You can also buy a thicker single stand for this shield which has a thicker thread which will fit it.
That mic is like 1.1k
That’s not a broke setup
Tiwastage F5 sound isolation shield
Looks like mine came without that bracket . Does anyone know where I can find it?
This guy can sing bro 🎶
Wait so I have to buy a whole nother stand
Not if you have the right stand which is stronger and has the correct larger thread on top
thanks for the tutorial
Can you explain the size of that isolation shield ?
Why not clamp it to one of those stands
I am going to try that, I just moved and these stands do not hold and it looks funny lol
What stands did you use for this?

The "Coming Back to You" part is using Cubase tuner and dragging the melody an octave up on my vocals :) Thx!
Hello, what is the reference of your two microphone stands?
I'm laughing so hard when he came out like that and used 2 lighting stands.

Epic fail lol. Whoo this was a while ago
Sort your audio levels out. Talking quietly then blaring music is really annoying.
You had no back to back, direct comparison. And you also sung each in a different tune..good voice, kind of good review, but bad comparison
