As someone who doesn’t drink I’m really worried about freshers week lol did you enjoy your time without drinking? Where there many people who don’t drink too
I start in September for biomedicine and I'm really worried about freshers lmao. I'm Muslim so I don't drink or party, it's just not my vibe, and I'm married so I won't be living in halls, I'm obviously going to live with my hubby. With all of that in mind, how am I supposed to make friends, idk. I'm not a very social person to begin with but I would like to make a friend or two, you know? Also, how long is freshers? Plz tell me it's not two weeks of hell
Hey, congratulations on your biomed offer and acceptance! I don’t drink/ party either and my accom isn’t very sociable. I would say to make more of a conscious effort to meet people and to join societies as they usually have loads of activities you can participate in without drinking/ compromising your values Freshers is usually a week or so :)
Firms do send ambassadors do promote the firm and the work experience opportunities they have but I’m not sure about recruitment as I haven’t been to one yet…

Don’t be worried about that- there will always be people who don’t drink and you’ll be able to find them easily in motives!
Nice Esther !!! Hope you enjoy the rest of fresherssss
Thank you Jaden!
