Do the MACv-2 and Mackall share the same sole density? I have the Mackalls and find them to be too heavy and dense. I prefer the MACV-1 sole density. Very comfy and sturdy without being too heavy and dense.
I should mention that I prefer the older MACV-1 boot soles over the Mackall soles. I do not own the newer MACV-2 boots. Sorry if it wasn’t clear in the OP.
How do the Mackall’s feel on pavement? I’m doing a rucking marathon in April and it’s a mix of both trail and pavement so I was curious the feel on hard surfaces. Thanks!!
They are comfortable on pavement! The tread is designed for more off road terrain so it doesn’t get worn down by the pavement but if you have a mix of trail and pavement then you’ll be good.
Would you recommend the MACV-2s for long distance running? How breathable are they? How fast fo they dry? If not, are there any running boots you recommend in the coyote brown color way?
You can run in them - they have a small hole at the bottom that allows them to breathe. I have only done some small distance running in them - I have had some friends that have done longer distances, a combo or rucking / running and they liked them.
I have the MACV-2 and the rough runner and love them! Now I’m going to add the MACKALL to my collection. Thanks!
You're so welcome! They are awesome I love mine!
Cool 😎 review. I have both boots and shoes.
Thanks for watching! Oh that's awesome that you have both - I really like them both

@@GasGrower I believe they are very similar, the MACV-1 was a different design and it was changed slightly when they release the MACV-2

@@111wash did I miss a question im sorrt
I’ve had the Mackalls for about 6 months and find them to be too heavy and dense.
How quick do they dry?
They dry pretty quick - I leave them in the sun and it’s super fast
Cool! Thanks!

They dry pretty fast - esp if they are in the sun once they have gotten wet
