BFG 30-50/BFG 50-80
for installation on the backplane of the door at any height:
- for opening up to 7 m
- for leaf thicknesses 30-50 or 50-80 mm
- gate opening angle adjustment + installation instructions
- easy automation
- for axis from 25-40 mm
- a gap between shutters from 0-10 mm
The mechanism BFG 30-50 and BFG 50-80 are installed on the rear surface of the gate at any height, the numbers in the name determine the thickness of the leaves on which the mechanism can be installed. The first is from 30mm to 50mm, suitable for small gates made of 30*30, 40*40 or even 50*50 pipe. Pay attention to the thickness of the door including the lining! The new set BFG 50-80 is suitable for massive, large gates with leaf thicknesses from 50mm to 80mm! In this mechanism, axles with a diameter of 10 mm are reinforced with hardened bolts of the 8th hardness class. In other mechanisms, 8mm bolts are also used, also of the 8th grade of hardness.

The BFG Uni mechanism is universal as it is suitable for leaf thicknesses from 20 to 80mm! The peculiarity of its installation is from the end of the gate from above or below. This mechanism is the least conspicuous and has the most diminutive dimensions. Ideal for installation on gates that open outwards. It is best to mount it from above since in this position access to the mechanism of outsiders will be difficult.

Hello, this is exactly the system I need. I just have a question, how wide can the gate be for one mechanism? I would need to open a 4.5m wide (2.25m after folding) gate out of the garden with this nechamism on one side, is it possible to use your system?

So, you only need half the kit (left or right) to open the gate on one side of a 4.5m wide opening. Yes it is possible. But keep in mind that this is a large opening and the first sash should be especially securely fastened to a pole or mounting pipe with three hinges. The first sash should be made with a cross-section of at least 60*60*3mm and should be made ventilated to reduce wind resistance. The second sash should be made lighter by taking a pipe 60*60*2mm thick.
The pillars should be securely strengthened in a strong foundation. The pillars have a cross section of 120*120*4-6mm or can be made from several pipes welded together. Pour concrete inside - then it will be absolutely stable - like in this example with doors on one side - the first fragment has an opening width of 7.5 m!
Here you should use the most powerful mechanism BFG 50-80.
