The word "feminist" has been misunderstood a lot and for me being feminist is just what you have said -> being free to take decisions in your life and do what you want as a woman. Thanks for the video!! I will enjoy the asmr version too, for sure!!

🕯very beautiful spread! Warning I type a lot here lol, but no expectations here, just want to chime in ☺️
I also feel the most healthy thing is finding that middle path suited to yourself and your life and needs in all things. You are right, the rapidity of information in our world can be overwhelming to say the least and complicated.
I cannot say how many times my path has had to change, but it does work out, especially if we always try to self reflect and adapt.
Hell I first planned to serve in the military because my grandparents thought I should to pay for school, wasn't for me, went to school first for for vet medicine, wasn't for me, then for archaeology, was something I wanted but my chronic illnesses bore a head. Got married at 19 and still am, over five years, that wasn't planned. Still have my first job I've ever had, and have worked my way up to a good place from being a temp, a lot of people would stay in it forever. Currentlt pursuing this whole youtube art thing at the pace I can and trying to figure out what I value and how I can be my creative self in a way that feels good with the hope of suplorting us one day while giving to the world and spreading joy.
The question of what WE value changes over time and I am thankful to be exposed to more and more life paths of others, and thankful to see how each change in my path can bring shifts and clarity.
Your videos help me to reflect further on my choices and moments in life. They are kind reminders to be aware of what matters to me, and the people I love, and that it is okay to appreciate and enjoy the little things; That they still matter, because I make them matter ❤
    Thank you!!

Awe I appreciate you sharing all that 🥰🥰 yes, adapting and reevaluating what we value over time is so important! It’s ok to change our minds of what we want-I think I changed my major about a thousand times in college 😆 and then life circumstances and world events change your views and values and you just have to try to hold your center of who you are and go with the flow of the everyday things. Happy to hear you’re in a good place for yourself 💖💖

Thank you so much 🥰 and yes, sometimes I think the “shoulds” can get to us, but holding those good experiences, lessons, etc are what stitch together these quilts of our memories together and that’s what we end up having in the end anyway. Memories-and the good and bad ones give context and weight to each other ❤️ thank you for sharing!

📚📖🕯💀📜 a plan or two is always a good idea but don't be too rigid. Some plans cannot be put back on track once off the rails. Adaptability is the better gift.

“Try not to be at the extreme ends of either because then you’ll get lost and overtly identifying with someone and you wake up one day and it’s not your life.” love that line! everyone needs to hear that especially with the climate right now online
I actually use to be one of those girls who said she would never have a husband or kids 🤣 I’ve been saying it since I was 18 or so and now all i want at 24 is a husband and two to four kids - ofc with the backup plan 💅
This topic actually reminds me of the ballerina farm article that came out this month i think! I don’t know if you read it but it’s very interesting and did cause that same discussion of trade wide/stay at home (with a bonus of religion discussions because she’s mormon I believe.) I actually found the article interesting and quite sad actually. (though I will say it was biased and Hannah did make a reponse video to it.)
another beautiful spread! have you ever scanned them? i think it would be so cool to see them up close (of course you don’t have too if you don’t want!) 🫶🏼

Thank you so much 🥰 I agree it’s important to not overly-identify yourself with a system, because that’s how you can lose yourself, but definitely pursue what you want! And that’s ok you’ve changed your mind! I’ve swung all over the place on opinions and future plans and wants since I was 18 😅 a lot of people want to wait to have kids or don’t know if they want them-I always knew I wanted at least one, but probably 2 so they’d have a buddy. It was hard having them young financially, but I’m glad I did. Our lives have a way of working out in front of us. You don’t know what to expect until you start, because it’s all so new.
As long as you have a back up plan that you’re comfortable with and a loving partner at the time who wants the same things, I think that’s the normal, human thing to do (for those who want kids)-and omg that Ballerina Farm mess!
Part of me thinks that was a publicity stunt to launch a new part of their meat business (which good for them if so) and the other part is just like-no some rando journalist with her own high and mighty ideals would 100% walk onto that farm and try to paint a billionaire’s wife as downtrodden victim. It baffles me that some people don’t understand how rewarding (hard and exhausting, but also fulfilling) farm work is! And mothering is! My plan IS to retire to a hobby farm (or drop to part time work, so I can be a homemaker again). So many things that get promoted on social media as being “life goals” can be great for certain stages of life, but many things (traveling constantly for example) can leave you feeling empty after the thrill wears off. I’ve lived that one too 😅

Having kids young honestly just sounds more my style - I know a lot of people do wait to have kids for financial reasons but I don’t know having a toddler in your 20s sounds fun 🤣 but i wouldn’t be upset if i had my first baby in my 30s
omg yes! she gained so much followers and everyone was talking about them it definitely boosted their business and social media presence. And yes farm work is sooo tiring (but loving as well) I use to say I want to live on a farm but I don’t think I have it in me 😅 I will keep on supporting farmers instead 🙂‍↕️
A lot of tradwives/homemakers get a lot of hate on social media under the guise of “trying to help” but these women run a social media page! They are making money! These women will be okay if their husband is out of the picture 🤣
And omg I hope you can be a homemaker again! Praying this channel reaches more people because your work is honestly my favorite when it comes to journaling I have yet to find content creator who makes works even similar to yours 🙏🏼✨

@dollmuse awe that means so much 🥰🥰🥰 thank you! Yes, those ladies will be fine 😅 even though it didn’t work out for me as long as I wanted (while I was married), I wouldn’t trade it for anything. There are really hard days, both being a SAHM and being a working mom-it really comes down to which hard you prefer to handle. Plus, all of the frugality lessons you learn being on one income, the things motherhood makes you confront about yourself, all of that is hard in the moment, but it really changes who you are for the better and I think I enjoy life more than I ever could have before.
And, yes, girl you have time 😊 It just gives you more time to get ready for them-and oooo do I love shopping local farms! Do y’all have a lot where you live? We have a local bee farm and a farm-farm with vegetables and meats. I get eggs from a neighbor and hunt deer/pigs at my dad’s. It’s definitely fun, though I shop at aldi a lot too, because-convenient lol

@@darlingcottagediary omg that reminds me of this book I read (actually my favorite book of all time!) morning glory by lavyrle spencer - ex convict sees an ad on the newspaper for a husband, the fmc is a widow, has two children is pregnant and the back drop is the 1940s in Georgia.
The main focus of the story isn’t about motherhood but the woman’s mother haunts the story a bit and ugh her story was so upsetting I had to put the book down for a bit and we see how it affects the fmcs relationship with her children and the mmc.
we don’t have that much really! at least not that I know of 😅 we usually get pop ups here and there and we do have berry picking farms! My aunt actually brought over some plums! And ughhh I wish we had a local bee farm I’m almost out of my honey jar. And yes I love aldi 🤣 it’s also much more relaxing than walmart

Exactly. Shaming someone for staying home to raise children is just as bad as shaming her for going to work to provide financially-it’s her life-why y’all so nosy? Mind ya business 🤣
