🍓 that mini oven is absolutely adorable! and this spread is so cute too - I think this might be my favorite journal of yours 🤣 between the book pages and this one it’s definitely top tier ✨ And I don’t bake that much - the occasional halloween cookies you get in a package from the store are always good though! And technically not baking but oreo truffles are absolutely delicious. 🍑

Hello Ashley, I finally read this book based on your recommendation! 🦭 This spread has always been one of my favorites of yours but I didn’t want comment on it until I read the book 🙂‍↕️ I actually gave it a 5 stars on goodreads it helped me out of my reading slump (just in time for september 🤣🍂) And it’s actually my first ever Gary Paulsen book 🌊 I think this was my first survival story that isn’t centered around a romance and it was so lovely - Leif’s connection with the grace whale , him humming the song while he sits next to her is so heartwarming. I think what tugged at my heart the most was the line “A dock boy, a wharf boy, nursed by sucking rags dipped in sour goats milk and fish oil, fed on scraps others would chew to soften” I don’t know it just made me emotional - over the years I’ve been much more sensitive(?) with media that has babies and small children in tough situations but that quote particularly stands out to me because although Leif does go through so much hardship and abuse at the hands of these ship men it warms me knowing that he was cared for as best as they could while out on sea. And the scene of him wanting to give Little Carl a proper burial 🥹 it was so sweet and his song he made for him warmed my heart 🐋 And the human connection of wanting to record stuff! A habit as old as time. I can imagine the next person to find Leif’s drawings, the shock on their face when they realized someone has been here before - or maybe in the future people will study his carvings such as what we do now with old paintings. And hmm I think the most “life changing” books I’ve read have to be “Tatiana and Alexander” it’s the second installment in the bronze horseman trilogy by Paullina Simons. It’s a WW2 historical romance book set in soviet Russia. the second book is vastly different from the first so if you ever want to check it out look up “the bronze horseman” first! Without getting into spoilers, Tatiana, the fmc, is very selfless person (which is both a good and bad thing for her) and seeing the way she cares for the people around her and the MMC is absolutely beautiful and made me rethink my thoughts on family values, relationships and sacrifices for the ones you love. Alexander (the mmc) also goes through tons of tribulations and we see how far he’s pushed for her and ugh very lovely book - it’s my favorite of the three. Another beautiful spread as usual! I especially love the 3d waves and the far away island 🏝️💫

Not a huge pumpkin pie spice fan, but don't mind it occasionally. I love hot chocolate, like just plain hot chocolate with some whip cream and a marshmallow or two. Chai is also my go to but all year long, not just for fall. Great page as always!!

☕️ I don’t drink coffee but I do drink chai every single day year round and I love when Starbucks starts the pumpkin spice chai lattes. I had my first one the other day and it was glorious. Autumn is my favorite season (it’s even the name of my second daughter 👧🏼) and I grew up in the NE with all the seasonal changes. Now I live in south Florida and I miss the cool weather so much it aches. I have to live vicariously through social media and decor 😂

literally squealed when i got the notification for this! 🍂🧡 omg i hope you recover soon! covid sucks i got it fairly late and ugh i think i moped in bed for two weeks and then after that it was just. nuisance (my ears always popped whenever i tried to eat 😭) i’m fairly boring when it comes to coffee drinks (and drinks in general) i really just love a iced caramel latte with cold foam and the color thing is interesting! i remembered there was a huge craze of it this year i think! people getting their colors tested and if they were like a cool autumn or something - a lot of my clothing is monochrome so i just typically wear that 🤣 and yes the fall season barely lasts where i live too 🙂‍↕️ we have a pretty decent winter and a hot summer but we don’t have that picture-esq fall you see in movies another beautiful spread as always ashley! hope you recover soon and guess who’s about to be apart of ephemera club next month 🫡 i was in it for one month but financial stuff happened but i am BACK (in 7 days) 🥳🤍

I like sounds more. Sometimes I watch on a fast speed ( not your videos because I need time to read the comments you add which I like) and music sounds awful when fast forwarded so I turn the sound off. But then I miss any comments that might be added. I am reading Pride and Prejudice for the first time (I'm 74) and enjoying it although I'm not far into it. ❤ Meg

🌳🪶🌳🪶🌳🪶 I’ve been DYING for you to do a Pride and Prejudice spread!!! I’ve almost requested it but I don’t like when people feel forced to create things. I love these both so much!! P&P and Emma are my faves too 🥰 although I’m an Austen girl so I’ll take anything by her (Lady Susan doesn’t get enough credit imo). I also don’t mind music or no music as long as I can hear the journaling sounds. I don’t like videos that have music and no paper sounds. Also my favorite fall movies are the original hocus pocus and practical magic (which I know you’ve done and is one of my favorite spreads of yours!). I also prefer your original style videos with spreads 🖤🖤🖤

I like both light music and just sounds… sorry that’s not more helpful but both are enjoyable, so if you’re inspired to add music go for it and if not, just let it be😃 And I agree that there’s no need to reinvent the wheel… nothing wrong with trying new things and growing but don’t feel like you have to. It should come out of a place of joy!💜
