- Come get cozy and chat with me while I create a fairy’s treasure box that ideally would bed her stash at the foot of her bed. Lots of artistic techniques to turn regular paper into mixed media journal art 🧚♀️ I do some painting with calligraphy ink, decoupaging, cutting, turning old book pages into stickers, and use dried flowers and other trinkets to create a 3D effect in my journal🍄 I hope you’re inspired to take some time to yourself and create-or at least forget about your anxiety for the next 30 minutes ✨

🍄❤ I love fairies! And I love your Walnut box and would appreciate seeing more of the little scenes you made. My mother used to put tiny figures in Walnut shells and glue them closed and hang them on a branch for an advent calendar at Christmas. The golg colored Walnut held a tiny baby. I want to do something like that this Christmas but with a hinge opening. You've given me some ideas. Thanks Meg
How fun! I make those walnuts too, but with little wishes written in scraps of paper or with candies in them 🥰 it’s one of my favorite traditions!

🍄🧚♂️🧚♀️ Aaa!! It has been too long, excited to binge here! What a beautiful page to come back to ☺️ I really loved the doors and all the thoughtful things inside! The book illustration with the walnut was perfect! I didn't make walnut boxes growing up, but I did collect "owl faces" at my Grandpa's cabin from hickory trees, still have them! 🦉 I laughed or chucked or cackled a few times in this video, I feel inspired to get back to my journaling, thank you!! 🩷

another beautiful spread! 🤍 love the open door concept it’s always so fun to see! and for the question i’d say my bookshelf! though right now it’s a mess 😵💫 it’s usually nicer but i’m annotating a book right now plus ordered some books and trinkets so i’m redoing it 😅🤣
