In general, having him dance once in a while would bring out the "Lord" part of him. After all, Vader, as the heir apparent to the Empire, is basically an overly-badass (and scarred) Crown Prince.
Schmidt and Crocket Inc. To be honest Palpatine would probably kill Vader before he got the chance to actually inherit the Empire. Palpatine was never mad when Vader schemed and shit because he knows that the way of the sith and he was very happy to see Vader trying to kill him. Honestly if Palpatine was on his death bed, he would try to kill Vader because he'd be disappointed on how he attained the Empire. To be honest that's why I love Palpatine so much. He knows that betraying the master is the sith way and was never angry with Vader for doing so. Such an interesting personality.
Kaneki Ken I don't think he would. The problem with Vader was while he was too weak to defeat Palpatine, he was also too strong and madly determined to lose to almost anyone else, and the only reason for his loss to Luke was that he had lost that determination. Besides, by convention, Vader WAS the Heir - even if Palpatine was planning something else de-facto.
Schmidt and Crocket Inc. What's ironic is that Vader was extremely loyal to Palpatine in the early years of the Empire and those were the only time Palpatine was vulnerable multiple times. I guess I can understand Palpatine not killing Vader because he'd need an heir but he'd be a bit disappointed with Vader not becoming Emperor the traditional way. He also tried to replace Vader multiple times due to him losing like all of his potential once he lost his limbs and nearly burned to death. Therefore he could no longer surpass Palpatine and he wanted someone who could surpass and kill him.
Kaneki Ken And he could not find anyone. I suspect that if not for Luke's arrival, eventually Vader would have learned some more abilities, healed his body a little bit more, and gotten a halfway decent apprentice. With this arsenal he'd bring down Sheev (probably just barely), and that'd be it. He would rule the Empire alright, and I can imagine he'd spend most of his free time torturing the half-decent apprentice or trying to find a Force cure for his limb problem.

One does not simply dance with Vader and live but I do have to say it would've been interesting to see him dance with the princess. He probably would've had a flash back about when he danced with padme.
In general, having him dance once in a while would bring out the "Lord" part of him. After all, Vader, as the heir apparent to the Empire, is basically an overly-badass (and scarred) Crown Prince.
Schmidt and Crocket Inc. To be honest Palpatine would probably kill Vader before he got the chance to actually inherit the Empire. Palpatine was never mad when Vader schemed and shit because he knows that the way of the sith and he was very happy to see Vader trying to kill him. Honestly if Palpatine was on his death bed, he would try to kill Vader because he'd be disappointed on how he attained the Empire. To be honest that's why I love Palpatine so much. He knows that betraying the master is the sith way and was never angry with Vader for doing so. Such an interesting personality.
Kaneki Ken I don't think he would. The problem with Vader was while he was too weak to defeat Palpatine, he was also too strong and madly determined to lose to almost anyone else, and the only reason for his loss to Luke was that he had lost that determination. Besides, by convention, Vader WAS the Heir - even if Palpatine was planning something else de-facto.
Schmidt and Crocket Inc. What's ironic is that Vader was extremely loyal to Palpatine in the early years of the Empire and those were the only time Palpatine was vulnerable multiple times. I guess I can understand Palpatine not killing Vader because he'd need an heir but he'd be a bit disappointed with Vader not becoming Emperor the traditional way. He also tried to replace Vader multiple times due to him losing like all of his potential once he lost his limbs and nearly burned to death. Therefore he could no longer surpass Palpatine and he wanted someone who could surpass and kill him.

I suspect that if not for Luke's arrival, eventually Vader would have learned some more abilities, healed his body a little bit more, and gotten a halfway decent apprentice. With this arsenal he'd bring down Sheev (probably just barely), and that'd be it. He would rule the Empire alright, and I can imagine he'd spend most of his free time torturing the half-decent apprentice or trying to find a Force cure for his limb problem.

It's because she's now seen what happens if you cross Vader and the fragment of alderaan was to say you may have lost people but you will lose the rest of your planet if you continue to fight against me.
The empire still needed a ruler to manipulate for the mining resorces. If she died, the planet would rebel against the empire and then they have to destroy the planet, wasting its resorces.

Vader isn't some serial killer, seeing how he spared the girl. He could've just killed her, and find a new leader, but he was merciful, this was Vader's most generous of times
Vader is not an idiot , either. He is tactical as is his use of Fear, persuasion, and politics. He has raw strength and great command of the force, if needed, but he would rather just talk and do low effort. This is low effort for him. He just walked through and went * "meh" * , dodging a drill and killing a few guys as a warmup, simply walking to the king. Like, he did very little. His posture and everything is *he does not need to run* , which should scare the shit out of anyone. I agree that now he is not a serial killer, but when he started getting slammed by the dark side and killed the younglings, he was.
