Those owners need to pay. That is just unacceptable, they clearly have 0 control of those dogs and didn't train them at all.
They are pups and any dog can go for you when your on any bike.
I know full well as a X motorbike postie for ten years. Stop and turn around and make them a wear you are just a human and they will leave you alone, act like he does and that will happen every time. People are suppose to be the intelligent ones yet i see this all the time. All of my co workers got attacked i always did ruff areas with ruff dogs and they were sweet. Control your fear and use your brain

@@julle9972 i can call my dogs off at anytime and they are all socialized af. The couple had control over there dog but the pups need work. The guy on the bike however needs to figure out how life works. They were pups m8

A buddy of mine (RIP) used to go MTBing and there was one stretch of trail where "wild dogs" (not; were kept by some idiots but left to run free) were known to attack people. Whenever he'd go, he brought a pommel with him. Looked like a handlebar grip but pointy part on the "pinky" end. Got attacked once, grabbed that, started hammering on any skull that came within reach. Took out 3 of the 5-6 dogs that came at him before, probably injured the rest in at least some capacity. He got bitten up pretty bad, but recovered. Cops went to the site, found the 3 and a mess of blood all around, tracked down the "owners", who denied the dogs were theirs. No real resolution after that, sadly.

rubbish thing is that clip was in the uk you cant defend yourself in the uk say that rider started to kick those dogs the owner could get him charged for hitting the dogs even though they where in the wrong
There was a pack of coy/dogs ( coyote & domestic xbreed) that terrorized a local golf course for weeks in my area a decade or so back. Several golfers got attacked and only were able to get away by getting on top of their golf carts and swinging away at the coydogs as they tried to get at them. The D.E.P. officers sent in to dispatch them got attacked cause the pack was bigger then estimated and lost their fear of humans. They were lucky the rest of the pack fled as they started unloading on the lead stalking part of the pack. It took several days for the rest to be tracked and euthanized. I'm not for euthanizing wild animals just for the sack of doing it. Like with crow hunting and predator hunting just for their pelts. But if theres a threatening pack of hybrids like that, in a residential area that's attacking humans as prey. Not out of fear, or being cornered or threatened themselves ? Then they gotta go ! Just so everyone knows the biggest male coydog of that pack was a Rottweiler coyote mix at 102 pounds and the biggest female was a Pitbull Shepard mix ( coyote?) of some kind that was 75+ pounds according to the groundskeeper at that golf course who helped with the dispatching of that pack. There was over 14 in that pack which 8 of were hybrid coydogs.
My only encounter with anything like that was while fishing. My buddy and I were at a trout reservoir a few towns over that borders a game preserve. Fishing the river that feeds the res. we heard this huge crashing sound coming through the trees. This huge buck jumps the entire stream in one leap.(15' - 20' ) and disappears into the woods on other side about 150' upstream. I look back up river at my buddy and he's looking at me like holy shit !! Just then we hear and I see the splash of a huge coyote hybrid jumping in the stream in chase after that deer. Then 3 more follow, but the 5th dog stops and looks at us wading in the stream. Drops its head and I'm thinking its gonna attack. It hears its pack barking so it follows them across the stream. Needless to say we hightailed it out of there fearing they'd loose the deer and come back for easier prey , US !! We got out of there ok, but when we went back a few weeks later for some bass fishing on the main body of water there was signs posted by the D.E.P. to be aware of the " coyotes" about the area that had stalked several MTB'ers and Hikers as well ! WTF and our state law dosent permit sidearms to be carried in state forest ?🤯 Bottomline that MTB guy should've pulled out a 🔫or 🗡and by all rights defended himself. Shit if walking my dog and a neighbor's dog attacks mine I defend my dog as if he were my kid ! Had to do it several times . Luckily never had to dispatch one yet in defending my dog . Usually that dog has fled once I intervened. Hope🙏 I never have to either !!!

A lot of people who have aggressive dogs unleashed are like that, they are so entitled they think the biker is at fault for going near them
I've been cycling since the mid 80s. Unleashed, aggressive dogs are fair game.
@@riffmagos I'm an animal lover and always have been, but even I will use brute force against any violent dog attacking any human or animal, and I have done in the past when an unleashed dog attacked my girlfriend's dog. He got a Doc Marten to the head several times until he stopped. Aggressive dogs are indeed fair game.

There are highly trained dogs that can indeed walk without a leash but the leash is not only for the safety of they surrounding people and animals but for the safety of the dog itself

Most of times it’s not the dog, but the owners. And they all love their dogs, often without knowing how to react, control and educate correctly.
It really depends on the dog breed these dogs really should have been on the leash.

I own a malinois, he was a feisty pup (came from both working parents) also tried to go for bikers, cars, runners etc. Which is the exact reason why i never let him offleash. These 2 pups in the video were just doing what they’re bred to do. These dogs should not be offleash unless they have a 100% solid recall.
I love animals but damn, if there would be 3 dogs actually attacking me and I have no chance to leave, I would fight for my legs (and life), even if the owners are there...
Everyone should do that idc either it's their problem if I hurt one of the dogs

Just a reminder to people who have dogs… if a vehicle hits them you are 100% responsible for any damages… even that clip where the dogs attacked the cyclist… he could have easily got them put down..
Yeah the tan dog actually snapped at the man in the yellow jacket, it snaps at his face and neck briefly, that is a seriously dangerous dog and I absolutely would consider putting that one down.
Bad enough poor or no training leading to the attack of a stranger, but to then snap and bite at their owners? Nah, that's a bullet to the head.

Yeah had a family dog when I was a kid that just one day decided to go bat shit crazy and started to attack me, still have a scar from it today (think i was like 6 or something) and my mother beat it so bad that it had to be put down. Sometimes you just got to know when to get rid of them. Don't know why the biker was just sitting there letting himself get attacked

A ken, it's terrible how irresponsible some dog owners are. I just watched a Rote jump at a kid and rip the sleeve of his jacket coz the owner was on the phone and not paying attention to what or where the dog was going, it was pulling him along.
In my earlier comment I meant for people who travel through Public Areas where people walk their dogs ,learning a Martial Art would help them stay confident if a situation arises. Frequently play fighting with your own dog might help too.🤣😂😂

That is supposed to happen in the UK too but law rarely gets enforced now for fear of offending the criminals. But you can bet your a55 if those dog owners claimed their dogs were trans or of an ethnic minority, the biker would’ve been put in prison.

the MTB biker was so defenseless, use your bike(spin it around), be more aggressive and slam the dogs with the tires . Punch the dogs. The dogs WERE not in control. One of them bit/attack the "owner" on the neck. WTF... Criminally charge the owners despite the leash laws there. I am a dog owner but been attacked by a couple of dogs that were trying to get to my dog... If you got upper body strength, get down to their level and push/punch them away with, lower your center of gravity. If you can get a grip on the neck of the attacking dog, grab the skin on the back of the neck (like a mother cat carries her kitten) and pull it up. IDK if that works all the time but I had one that went to submissive mode. But be weary, that might just trigger it more.

When I was a kid I pet a bison in Yellowstone. But it was laying in the doorway to a public bathroom that had a patio with a roof and 1x1 foot thick wood beams supporting the patio roof before entering the bathroom between me and the bison. So it couldn't just get up and turn on me, but it didn't even care, it seemed to like getting scratched where it couldn't reach lol

My worst encounter on a motorbike was with a horse that came out of nowhere while leaning into a corner one night. Took out the horse & the bike, with me scraping up the road.
As for dogs that bite total strangers like that .. they lose any 'pet' privileges .. so you grab their ears & twist as hard as you can. They will scream & let go & should back off.
Two of those Malinois dogs were five or six months old, and at this age, they definitely did not receive enough training, and if they grow up like this, they will become very dangerous and predatory.

When their pet attack another pet or person they act so annoying. I have a suggestion for whoever going to buy dogs. As a lifelong dog owner, I agree. It's not good for the animals either. The amount of dogs that had to learn the hard way not to charge at me or my dogs when I was walking my Boerboel and my Old Victorian Bulldog is tiresome.

Last year I stopped while taking my nephew for a ride in my Vette to help a baby snapping turtle cross a really busy road. Went back out with my niece a few minutes later and there was a bunch more crossing. I had a small Amazon shipping box in my trunk so we gathered all the ones we could save and brought them across the road to the pond they were going to. Stayed there for over a hour saving all the ones that hatched and boxing them up to cross those as well ! Stayed there till we had yo vet back to my inlaw for dinner and she had the most amazing story to share on how we saved 21 baby turtles from being run over ! I'm just surprised I was able to make out it was a baby turtle and not a clump of asphalt or road debris of some kind? Just saw a little bit of movement while we were driving by at 40mph !! Had a idea what it was so turned around. Unfortunately 3 were crushed during the time in between rides. Not sure why the mother turtle would cross such a busy road to lay her eggs like that so they'd have to cross to survive that gantlet!!

I skidded on sheet ice once so parked my car with Hazards on and went on foot back to the oncoming side of the ice and started signalling slow down ! A van with Construction Workers drove past flipping me the Digit and I turned and watched them bounce off a kerb and scrape the side of their van off Roundabout Signage! Still makes me chuckle to this day!

I've had this happen multiple times in my local pipelines. Owner would let the dog off the leash and come chase us down. I finally got irritated and roosted the sh*t out of the dog with rocks on my cr250r

I got lucky with a pack of dogs once. Riding on a dirt road when they came running towards me (4 or 5 of them I think?) I knew my bike and the helmet was a trigger so I just separated myself from the bike and they calmed down, friendliest balls of fluff ever after that
That's why I carry a big fixed blade when I ride . For dogs and mountain lions. And anything else that wants to harm me

I was walking my dog on lead and was attacked by another dog, I dont know where it came from but hearing my dog yelp I waded in and punched the other dog as hard as I could in the neck and screamed blue murder at it. horrible experience

We were walking with our dogs (GSD and malinois) in the middle of the woods when some jackass with mountainbike zoomed right pass us from behind. No warning (yell, bell, couch...) what so ever.
Thankfully our dogs are well trained so they stopped when commanded but that biker was asking for trouble. He surely saw us from hundred meter away.

But can you imagine that it's summer, they go for a walk with their dogs and some children ride by on bikes (it doesn't have to be a forest path, it can be anywhere else)??? Children will be much easier victims for these three dogs and as a parent if I saw this my child was attacked by a pack of dogs on a bike I would shoot all the dogs without hesitation and if my child were to get hurt I would have to do something to not to harm their owner too ! If I don't deliberately provoke the dog with something or hurt it, then the dog simply must not attack a person, it must not! I am sorry!
me and my father were on a small tour of 80km in the Austrian Alps on our bicyles. We were going downhill at around 40km/hwhen we got to a blind corner, it was a pretty calm mountain road, but we still kept our side of the road. around the blind corner we wnt, and BOOM! horses, we had enough time and space to react quick and safe, so no one was hurt. but it was a weird encounter for sure

Last 3 years was bitten 7 times... 2 couses of anti rabbies injection
when i was about 18 i used to live on a road with a dog that would come after me everytime i rode my bike down my road i lived in the country i confronted said dog owners multiple times about their dog trying to attack me even pulled me off the bike a couple times one day i kicked it in the jaw and never saw that dog again

The clip with the dogs is why I bought a puppy and trained him from the first day I had him. It's not "breeding" that creates those kinds of dogs, it's lazy or ignorant owners who either can't be bothered to train them or taught them to act that way. Notice the two are wearing jackets with "martial arts" on the back? I'm betting they got those dogs for "security" (maladjusted people who need "guard dogs" to make themselves feel all "macho") and that's why they attacked him. Imagine if someone was on a walk with their kid and that happened? Absolutely sickening behavior, people like that should not be permitted to own animals.

A tip is when a dog is attacking you you pull there hind legs. If there attacking a child you pull there neck with a leash choking them until they get off the child.

Dogs in packs are quick. Pepper spray and a yard of thick steel cable with a strong strap to keep it in your hands

here in south norway there are A LOT of animals going around freely (cow and sheep for the most part) so you have to be extra careful when riding near farmland.
The yellow dogs are belgium mallinois puppyes, imagine the damage if theyre adults

i was one riding my horse and two german shepherd came and attacked me and my horse and all the owner was doing was just calling her dogs and i had to get off my horse and i really didn't want to have to hit the dogs with my riding stick but in the end i had to and then finally the owner came up and said oh my dogs are friendly and they just want to play and i told her that your dogs are not friendly and if they had bitten my horse any further up his neck he would have died. ( the dogs didnot have muzzels or collars on )
Hope the guy who got attacked by the dogs called the police.
Props to the one biker for keeping his composure in a tough situation. If it were someone else those tan pups might have never made it to adulthood.

3:01min this happened to me two times last year. Firstly with 6 or 7 wild boars an the other situation was with 10 or more young cats, the cats where sitting on the street at the exit of a corner and ate a half tuna pizza laying on the street. The cats started running, jumping 1 or 2 meters in front of me in different directions. The air was full of cats

Imma dog lover and all but Those dogs offleash would be getting kicked so hard by me
If you shoot someone's pet because its attacking you. You should be civilly and criminally be innocent for everything.
