Well done! 👍🏼👍🏼 "This is a public service announcement... Cloudmaker Tree Cutting Service will be operating..." 🤣🤣 That 10 pound saw is cheaper than 50 pounds of cutting compound & polish! Those mirror mounted chainsaws are starting to look good... 🤣🤣
Mirror mounted chainsaws sound like a great idea Kevin. You've just sparked a tree cutting memory. I was having to reduce the height of a tree due to overhead electric cables years ago and my method was to cut off the highest reaching branches at their base where they joined the trunk, a passer-by stops to offer his words of wisdom, which was I needed to get higher to take the tops off. Well I simply explained that the tops were automatically reduced when I cut the bottoms off them! 🪚😮🤦♂👍😁😂
Hello mate it seems that our council like some others have relied on trucks passing by to keep the over growth at bay, but with a 95% reduction in tipper lorries on this road from just one quarry the hedges are now well over the edge of the road. Thank you for the comment Jonathan.
My Land Rover was a former Derbyshire CC snowplough. But we had to have the roof replaced because it was used for lopping branches and was full of dents. Looks like they need it back 😅😅
Want a pair of Loppers and pick telescopic ones up in Lidl cheap enough to keep with you as always errant branches to deal with and we all know what councils are up to while everyone suffers
This one was a bit too much for loppers, have a pair at home and it's surprising how thick of a branch they go through, but this one was about 50mm thick. Thank you for commenting.
While you were backing up there was a 50 mph sign hidden in the trees on the opposite lane, I wonder if a speeder could get off a summons because they couldn't see it. Just another job the councils are not tackling.
It just shows how overgrown the sides are as when they put them up they were well clear of the hedges. Wouldn't get you off a speeding charge as they are just repeater signs that appear about every 1km when they put a complete blanket 50mph maximum on almost all ordinary roads like this. Strangely though single track roads with passing places are still 60mph and what was once briefly the deadliest road in England, the Via Gellia is still 60mph too. As some say go figure. Another strange fact is that when they introduced this limit it was to reduce accidents, however the figures show there has been a growing increase in reportable accidents every year since. All the best.
@@cloudmaker Bit like the village on the A48 that asked for speed cameras to be in stalled. In the first 6 months of use it was mainly villagers and drivers from outlying areas that got caught.
Hello Norm, I kept this one in my pickup after this but I should have left it in the lorry as there was another a couple of weeks later. No good ringing our council, it was too big of a job, luckily a local farmer got it cleared later the same day. 👍
On the IoW in the late 60s, early 70s the bus company use to have a converted AEC ex army truck and also use open top buses to go around bus routes cutting the trees
Hello Andrew that sounds like it was a brilliant idea, much better than today where they'd spend half the time setting up the roadworks rather than just getting it done in a few minutes and be out the way. Thank you for the comment.
It was an emotional video..... You met on Timber. Now we know that you have "branched" out to reveal the unpaid part time job. I hope that your hands didn't get too "saw" after this. FYI did post yesterday but it might be held for review, pal. Nothing offensive but I know the shenanigans that YT try to play and many posts tend to go AWOL, mate. Anyway - nicely done 👏👏
Hello there fella, you can use it of course mate no problem, but I don't know if it will be interesting enough for your viewers. Mind you while we're both in pursuit of that million pound from You Tube give it a try. All the best mate and thank you asking.
You did a great job. Community thanks you... I hope the Council doesn't impose a fine on you....🤣🤣
Stay safe out there, fella.
All the best 👍
It wouldn't surprise me with our council Tuga. 😮👍Thank you for the comment have a good week.

Great work, shame the local council can't be arsed.

Don't think they could afford to buy it back now Ian, as they've recently been on the verge of bankruptcy. All the best Ian.
