Still love my Launch Edition (2021 LRDM with Plus and Pilot) with the ventilated leather seats and lighter interior. None of the new EVs out now make me regret my decision 🙂

Ive had my Polestar 2 since March 4th. I looooooove this car. Yes I'd agree that the infotainment is definitely a crown jewel of the car, thanks for pointing that out as a lot of reviewers don't. But it's not the only crown jewel, after driving this car for a while you just love it more and more. And I'm not new to EVs . I had a model y and that had a lot of things I couldn't stand about the car so I sold it and I have an ioniq 5 which is nice, but the Polestar is hands down more fun to drive. Also I'm due to take delivery of a gv60 performance in about a month and have orders in for 2 id.4's. non of which I expect I'll like more, or even as much as my Polestar. As nice as the gv60is, the infotainment most definitely could not be described as a crown jewel. I agree with your critique's of the Polestar...tho I find the ride to be as expected in the type of car it is and leaps ahead of my old model y

I like this car with the slate interior. I'm not into black interiors. When I test drove the car I went over several bumpy roads and I didn't have an issue with the ride. It's firm but controlled and for the handling you get, that's how it's set up. I think the solidity is outstanding. There are some things on the interior that aren't for everyone, like the chunky center console. But this is a fun to drive, very good performing, great handling car that's solidly built.

I've had my 2022 Dual Motor Pilot Plus for over 9 months now and agree with literally everything in this video.

It's a popular choice here in the UK and for good reason.
I particularly like the rear light signature at night - looks super cool. 😎

Polestar 2 was the car to purchase because everything else was 6-10month wait or pay huge ADM.

Great video. Having a dual motor Polestar since May, I agree with almost everything you said. Great job. One issue I’ve been having since I bought the car, is that the infotainment unit randomly reboots all the time when I’m trying to use the built-in Google maps. polestar has been unable to figure out the problem.

I had my ‘23 DM with Pilot for a month now running P2.3 software and so far no issues software or otherwise. Have you updated your OS? This is a personal performance car, definitely not a family hauler. I will always keep an ICE CUV for long distance travel; and do all my charging at home.

@@tonys9413 i drive a LRDM and have the most recent OTA update. I do Notice that as soon as i type something in the searchbar for youtube, using the Vivaldi browser, it exits back to the main screen. Did u have this issue as well?

great looks, no dealer bs. not efficient, and pricey. its a great choice for those who understand the current ev market.

Honestly I kind of was hoping for a big refresh this year, such as the same center screen as the polestar 3, a 400v bigger battery especially with the performance pack with competitors offering 85kwh I kind of hope it would do the same. And please polestar offer an alt to the black interior on the roof etc,

EV6, I4, Tesla 3, Mustang Mach-E, and so on to choose from... However, the road has become homogeneous with the same brands and models over and over again. Although tastes are subjective on the Polestar 2's styling, it really isn't a bad looking car at all. Some might compare it to a Subaru Outback or AMC Eagle for obvious reasons with the shape and stance, but I see it as its own thing and more unique than anything else out there these days. Genesis started the same way, but there are noticeably more of the brand's models out on the road but not quite overwhelming yet such as a bland-looking Toyota or Honda... bland for the most part unless we're talking about a Supra or NSX or something along those lines. Any way, Polestar is basically a Tesla without being a Tesla which is a good thing since there are also so many Teslas around... at least here in the northeast region. Too many Benzes, Bimmers, Audis, Porsches, etc that even the luxury and/or sporty German cars are beginning to bore me a bit... and that's another reason why I'd choose the Polestar for sure for an EV. Heck, if a KIA and a Ford are roughly in the same price range as a Polestar then the Polestar it is.

Everyone has to wonder what the price is since you didn't mention it.

Any Polestar 2 AWD 'Plus Package' owners seeing that bump in range 7:19 up to 260 miles yet?

Definitely would have been better with the gold calipersxand seatbelts.

The P*2 is an unabashed sports car. More like a 2+2 and not comparable to SUV's closer to BMW 2 or 3 series. Still has many software problems though.

Oh please, Polestar is a Swedish company. Go review their history. They used to be a racing company. I don't care who their owners are as long as they operate with autonomy which they do. And Volvo/Polestar are still around, unlike the brilliant Saab company that was owned by a clueless American company that killed it.
